[QUOTE="Michael0134567"][QUOTE="cryemocry"]Whatever the hell that means. Real gamers dont want GIMMICKS LOL Everything once was a gimmick and then became the standard. Shoulder Buttons, D-Pad, start and select, Analogues, Motion Controls, Touch Screen, Home button... All those now are standard on a console or handheld.Nintendo doesnt know what real gamers want.

[QUOTE="dobzilian"][QUOTE="doll94"]You mind if I add you as a friend on Wii U? You can destroy me when I get around to buying TTT2. My ID is DontUseJellydoll94Yeah sure. lmao@ Name. thats one funny name.Well I checked the notification thing and it was all set to on.. So I guess that goes back to my dislikes :D And the name is from a Flaming Lips song. Weird. I dont know what else to recommend lol. I got one when you accepted my request. never mind aye.
Me,
1) When i turn on the Wii U with the pro controller, the gamepad also turns on, even though you can do everything the tablet can do with the pro controller.. Sure you can turn off the gamepad, but it gets annoying having to bring both controllers wiith me.
This is because the Gamepad is PART of the Console. If the Gamepad Breaks, That is considered the Console Breaking.
2) I can't quit some games through the home button unless i go back to the main menu... are you serious? (I can quit any game, anywhere through the home button on PS3)
So far only Call of Duty does this. I'm assuming it has to do with the Online Portion.
3) Updates take longer than PS3 updates... The latest black ops 2 update took about 10 minutes to download and install, while on PS3 it updated in a couple of minutes.
I don't think Nintendo has a full grasp of their online serivce, Although it's Miles better than the Wii's Before you either had to have a full channel for game patch or actually redownload the full game.
4) The loading times are really long compared to the other consoles, and you can't install games.
The Load Times I've found seem to vary between users. Some load fast some load slow. The only time a game loaded pretty slow for me was right after the latest download patch for BlackOps 2. Also If you want to Install Games, just buy them from the eShop. Also Who knows Nintendo may put an update where you can.
5) Why can't i play virtual console games with the WiiU controllers? Why don't they sell VC games through the WiiU for people without a Wii?
That's because the Wii portion of the WiiU is actually the WiiU turning INTO a Wii. They might activate Virtual Console games for the WiiU eShop because there are already NES games on eShop.
I hope these things get patched soon.
Do these things annoy you too? do you have other annoyances of Wii U?

Pro Controller not compatible with most games...NSMBU should be compatible. Nintendo should have put motion controls into the Pro Controller IMO. Since it wasn't most likely all major titles that I'm interested in will not be compatible. It was a waste of $50.
No GC backwards compatablity. The Wii is so similar to the GC, I dont get why they coudlnt just include the option to play GC on it. Then it still needs a unfied chat system, (like party chat), and invite friends to games. I'm assiming the samlller things will be worked out.
1. No Zelda and next gen Zelda confirmed to be like Zelda SS (god forbid, this is the worst news ever and a reason to NEVER get a WiiU)
2. Terrible last gen graphics (comparing to next gen or even current PC games)
3. Looking at another screen when playing is a disaster for me, all immersion is 100% gone
My major concern is that it does not play GameCube games or use GameCube controllers. I always use the GCN controler in all GameCube games, some Wii games and all Virtual Console titles. To me it is the ultimatecontroller. To me, a Wii without GameCube is a Wii without online. Nintendo port 25 year old NES games. Why don't they they give more support for the GameCube?
Where's the Zelda (for me) and the Pokemon (for my kid) games?
jun_aka_pekto
It was a very rare case for Nintendo to launch with a Zelda game.
The Wii was the only one.
The friends list. Miiverse has all your friends on it, no need for it.
Sometimes slow interface when transacting from Browser to Menu but not that bad.
People are being real nit picky in the comments, like not authentic reasons... They probably don't even own one because it's stuff like "the name" and "no Zelda"

Who said System Wars was full of Manticores? They be a Dime a dozen.
Slow os and the way the wii bc is handled, I don't like having to switch between wiiu/wii menu.
Oh! and where are the games? Haven't played mine since I finished ZombiU. :P

There are games, you probably just want to play them on other Systems.

Doubtful, I haven't played anything on the other systems. All of the systems are lacking games that interest me(at this moment).I really want to get my hands on Legends. :P
The smell. Seriously. Turn it on, wait like 3-5 minutes, then smell it. It's disgusting.freedomfreak
Really? Interesting. If any of my friends ever get a WiiU, I'll have to test that.
@topic: Nothing about the very existence of the WiiU annoys me. I just personally feel like Nintendo is making bad decisions, and THAT bugs me, because I don't want to see them forced to go the way of Sega.
The two reasons I don't own a Wii U are... 1. Current gen specs 2. Tablet controller Those two are the only issues I have with the Wii U. Well maybe the online, but seeing I don't own one, I don't know anything about it. But if friend codes are involved, then count that as issue #3.AmazonTreeBoa
I could be wrong on this one, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the WiiU online is revamped, got rid of the friend codes, and has a more standard style, with regular friends lists, and stuff.
