you're out of your mind. fc2 is awesome. in terms of just plain bad games, that's kind of hard to argue. for example i consider braid to be a pretty lame game, a 5.0 at best, but it seems most people cant waste enough breath praising it
Well, I'd give Call of Duty 4 an 8 out of 10. Just because the multiplayer was the only real good thing about it. But it's not a bad game, the campaign just sucked. I'd say the same for Call of Duty:WaW and Halo 3 too though. Campaigns were boring, but the multiplayer is fun as hell. I agree with Far Cry 2 however. It doesn't deserve an 8.5, maybe a 7 at best.

That and Gta. Probably those games more than any. Might want to re-read the thread title, BAD games that scored well, MGS IV and GTA IV are far from bad games, you may not like them but that doesnt mean they are bad, at all. Assassins Creed.

I seriously doubt that Valkyria Chronicles, LBP, and Disgaea 3 are BAD games. maybe LBP, bad platforming IMO. It's still not what you'd call a bad game.

Yeah, it was a good game. It's just a pain in the ass to get from point A to B.

I liked the over the top style of the game and I thought the combat was great and a lot of fun, but the overworld and side quests were very lame.
That's an example of a good game being over-rated though, not a bad game getting a good score.

I agree, I actually do not like Fallout 3 at all. I loved Oblivion and played that hor hours on end till I got uterly sick of it, thats probably why I dont like it, but I do think it is very overrated.
Assasin's Creed and NMH aren't bad games, but they didn't deserve 9.0.
I thought assassins creed was a bad game. About halfway through when I had done everything at least 20 or so times, and the pre-assassination cutscenes took place in the EXACT same fashion, the game had become a chore to play. The only reason I ever completed the game was to see the ending, which I had been told was full of plot twists.

The game lacked any sense of consistency where quality was concerned but I wouldn't say it was bad, just like Oblivion.
Battlefield 2 is the best tactical shooter I've ever played. Final Fantasy 8 was good too. It was no FF7, but it definitely wasn't bad. Seriously though, you think Battlefield 2 is bad?

There was just something about Oblivion and Morrowind that left me feeling compelled to explore every dungeon and perform every sidequest. Fallout 3, however, failed miserably at keeping my attention. The environments, while gorgeous, were completely uninteresting. The post apocolypic theme should've been intriguing, but it wasn't. The game's concept just didn't feel conducive to Bethesda's open world RPG engine.
Spore, GTA4. Far Cry 2 was most deserving of its over-rating. If that makes any sense.paullywog
On paper it seemed like a great idea, but I guess combining to very popular genres just blew up in their face. The game had a lot of potential but just didn't work out well. A game like that should have remained in development for a lot longer and it might have turned out great.

Now thats laughable. Their are no tactics behind it. I hate the game its insanely unbalanced and I was not having any fun at all. I still don't understand how people still play that game.
