So when I was playing the indie breakthrough of the year cuphead Doki Doki Literature Club, I needed to know if I was actually playing a good game. The game is a visual novel and relies on its story telling ability, and as I played it I found myself examining it. Is this a genre savvy moment? Is Natsuki's character arc flat enough? Well when you want the facts, you turn to the expert. @texasgoldrush
What are his thoughts on this game?
Would it rank up there with such classics as Life is Strange: Before the Storm? I await his judgement.
What do you think his thoughts will be on the game system wars? Do they match up with yours? How do you feel about the game?
Before I am told otherwise, I think the game was very well done and the best way to go into it is totally blind. Easily one of the standouts of the year in my eyes, due to its unique take on the dating sim and that soundtrack was very well done.
Each of the club members bring something interesting and different to the game, it was honestly hard to choice what to do at some points. If you haven't already take a look at it, its free on steam
