The original Xbox had Halo: CE and Halo 2 and the PS2 had SoTC and GoW 1/2 just to name a few, what are the flagship titles of each system (This gen. I mean)?
Thanks.

LBP isn't a flagship title. I agree with Willy.

Super Mario Sunshine for the Wii. Wrong genThis isn't exactly rocket surgery:
MS: Halo
Nintendo: Mario
Sony: GT
Sure there are other great games for all three platforms, but those three are the franchises that will sell consoles before the games have even been announced (hell one of the deciding factors in me buying a PS3 back in 08 was GT5 had to come out sooner or later).
hell one of the deciding factors in me buying a PS3 back in 08 was GT5 had to come out sooner or laterPBSnipesAnd yet, you were mislead. GT5 is the new Duke Nukem FOreverr. *closes eyes, bows head, and mourns for the lost beauty*
Wii: Ummm???
Seriously, you're just finding out today that Mario, Zelda, and Samus exist and have existed since gaming was in it's infancy?PS3 doesn't have a flagship title in the same league as the 360(Halo,GeoW) or Wii(SMG,Wii Fit).
Probably U2 or GOW3 is the nearest they have.

Sorry, but without any GT titles actually released on the PS3 to this day I wouldn't exactly call it a "flagship series" for Sony,at least not in this gen. (So far).

Uh, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue begs to differ.

GT5 Prologue is not a full game,it's like a demo for GT5.

A 'demo' that has sold over 4 million copies.
PS3:
-Uncharted Series, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Little Big Planet, MGS4
360:
-Halo 3, Forza Series, Mass Effect Series, Gears of WarSeries
PC:
-Crysis Series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series, Diablo Series, Starcraft
Wii:
-Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Wii Sports, Shovelware

The GT series has one of the largest fanbases in gaming,so it's not hard to imagine a GT5 demo selling over 4 million copies.Yes, let's pretend that Gran Turismo and Metal Gear don't exist for a moment.PS3 doesn't have a flagship title in the same league as the 360(Halo,GeoW) or Wii(SMG,Wii Fit).

a crap demo that sold 4 million copies because it was cheap and the only thing GT since GT4 for years and years and years
glad i sold that game off, so little to do in it, and it doesn't even represent the final product anymore, completely pointless
Why are people saying Metroid like it sells millions of copies:? it should be 360: Halo 3, Gears PS3: Uncharted, MGS4 Wii: Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros and Wii Sportsgamefan67Flagship titles are games that represent what the system is truly about. They don't have to sell a lot.

Metroid still does not fit that mold. Zelda does not at this moment either going by your definition:?
