Second play through of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Man, going through it again, it's one gorgeous game, good stuff.

I got it on PC and had full intentions of playing it, got Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D the next day and it ate up ALL my time.
PS4 - Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed,
Is there any undressing? :P
That's all you do in it.

The visuals on a top tier gaming PC is probably worth the price of admission.
Skyward Sword is mega shit.
;__;
Listen I will disagree with no one that a lot of those dungeons are exceptional, it gives Twilight Princess a run for its money in that department. But it is terrible on the tutorializing front, Fi is somehow almost as bad as navi, and **** navi, the motion controls are a complete mixed bag. They aren't precise in the strictest sense, they aren't as consistent as a button press, and the melee combat lacks any depth to make it all that special to begin with. The swimming controls are mega garbage, the dark world stuff thing the game had going on where lame sequences because the last thing I want to do in Zelda is some shitty pseudo stealth, and the ridiculous amount of filler in that game bores me to no end. A fetch quest between every dungeon khoof? really? you really all that fun getting all those tears of bullshit?
A fetch quest between every dungeon is beyond stupid, there's no doubting that. It absolutely kills the pace of the game, and it's the definition of annoying meaningless filler content. Those are, in fact, some of the aspects of the game that I find inexcusably bad. Tacked on motion controls (flying, using them for almost every single item in the stupidest ways possible) are also a huge con. And Fi, **** Fi. I will not disagree that there's a lot here to bring this game down. Doing that is basically being blind to bad game design, and I'm moved past that by now :P
However, what I say is that the good sections of Skyward Sword are, in my opinion, good enough to overcome those faults. Not so much that it becomes a, excellent game, or even one of the best in the series, but definitely enough to make it a very good game- at least in my estimation. The dungeon design is top notch, I thought the combat was great. The bosses are also very good (barring the easy difficulty, which does take away from them significantly, but doesn't change the fact that boss design is still very good), the music is excellent, and the lore and the story appealed hugely to the Zelda fan in me. And I liked the visual style too, but I understand that's a 50-50.
So yeah, bottomline: Skyward Sword has a lot of flaws, and most of those are inexcusably stupid. But the overall package was still a good one, I think. Not EXCELLENT good. But not as bad as it's made out to be either. Neither of those by a long shot.
PS4: Mostly been playing DOA5LR and Battlefront
PC: Been playing mostly Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen
30h+ into Twilight Princess, really awesome game :D! Just beat the "never ending" fairy dungeon, which was kind of a pain lol. Off to rebuild the mirror now! But it's seriously a fantastic game, a constant stream of new mechanics introuduced throughout. No OW fatigue in site. Map is clean of icons and most content is unique in one way or another. No spamming the exact same mission over and over, sprinkled with pointless collectibles. Story and characters are very charming.
One negative: The world looks like complete garbage. Coming from Wind Waker I can't help but to think it was a misstake to abandon cellshading (but as I understand it fans at the time more or less demanded it).
PC: Valkyria Chronicles, and Divinity: Original Sin

Playing back through Dragon Age Inquisition. I got the GOTY version on the Xbone for Christmas (I previously played through the regular game on the PS4). I am playing through the GOTY version with a 2 handed rogue. So I can check out the DLCs
Speaking of Rogues, I'm finally getting around to finishing up AC Rogue on the 360 when the Xbone is being hogged by family.
UC3 and holy shit is this game terrible. I can honestly say UC1 has more redeeming qualities. UC3 takes all the good aspects of the previous games and shoves them aside.
The pacing is absolutely horrendous. There are long stretches of the game where absolutely nothing happens, simply walking. This might be alright if the game was telling a semi-interesting story but it's not. It's trying to build up characters which aren't really there. Drake is a fun character but he's got the depth of a puddle, same with rest of the cast.
They decided to add in more melee centric combat and instead of allowing it to be incorporated naturally they decide to shove it down my throat. No it's not good, it's a simplified Batman, which isn't complicated to begin with.
I really enjoyed the first two UC games, except for the end of UC2, that sucked) so it really disappoints me that this one is so bad.
I was finally playing Fallout 4 since the new patch was just released and it had promising fixes. But then I realized that it broke the game even more for me and it's a CTD galore that doesn't even let me leave the vault.
So I suppose tomorrow I will be playing Dirt Rally and maybe start on Resident Evil 0 HD, Final Fantasy VI or Dragon's Dogma.
I was playing MGSV during January and finished Act I. Then I had a weak moment when surfing PSN Store and purchased Natural Doctrine (yes, the one that scored "2.8 - painful" on IGN) and I cant stop playing it.
The graphics are rubbish, the story is not the best, but the combat system totally nails it. I dont understand people that say its too difficult - its not, it just requires some thinking, which is what todays gamers are probably not used to.
I will not return to MGSV until I finish it. Thats how good it is.
PS4: Destiny, Batman Arkham Knight
PS Vita: Hyperdimension Neptunia
WiiU: Super Smash Bros.
Xbox 360: Mass Effect 3
Played The Division Beta over the weekend. Otherwise, I've been working through the backlog with some Sim City 4, Injustice, SFIV, and Grid 2.
Always playing GC and Wii games. Double Dash never gets old and looks fantastic in 1080p. ;)
