What are you looking forward to more: FFXV or Persona 5?

Persona 5. Because Persona, that's why.

Being a fan of action games, I'm gonna have to say FFXV. Also, helps that some semblance of hope remains for a PC version.

This thread is in desperate need of some SNIPER clones.

Both will be great, but im more of a FF guy.

Funny, when you think about it people are actually waiting longer for Persona 5 than FFXV.

Persona 5 is going to destroy FF15. Atlus knows what made JRPGs great back in the day. FF is just stumbling again to create some casual crap. I want to be proven wrong but that last video was meh as hell.

Persona 5. Because Persona 4 Golden.

Won't say I'm not a skeptic though, Persona 3 exists. At least they can't **** up things that Persona 3's multiple versions did, like no cutscenes, walking around, controlling your party, etc.

Neither game really, but we'll see fi these games turn out good or not.

I'm sorry to say FFXV ... because I know it will have some decent end game... and mostly about its combat/exploring/unlockables....

I found Persona 4 to be more of a visual novel with very poorly implement dungeons.... maybe they've reworked it alot now.... the combat was pretty decent..... but the content that revolved around it was horrible.... that and more kids teaching kids lessons isn't as epic ... to say the least.

I did enjoy P4 .... completely overblown though.

Getting both, FFXV comes out sooner and we know more about it, but I'm really looking forward to playing Persona 5 more.

Final Fantasy XV for me. I'm always hyped for a new FF, though I didn't really like the 13 trilogy.

13-2 and 13-3 were amazing games.

They brought the battle of attrition back to FF with 13-3... I hope it remains in XV.

it depends. I absolutely hate the looks of the new protagonist of P5 + I'm burned out from the formula they started with P3 too. The shallow and lazy dungeons, waifu and school life stuff... I'm really tired of that shit. I want an adult protagonist like P2. Seriously, I don't want to play as a pretentious looking megane wimp.

So for the moment I go with FFXV because it looks awesome and there's hardly anything on P5 to justify the interest. I mean, did you guys heard you can camp out and during the night enemies come out of the dungeons to attack you? Then we have dynamic weather effects and day night cycles too... The setting and story line are looking insanely epic and unique too. I really don't think P5 will have anything to counter the insane production values and innovative ideas in FFXV even though the game has been in development for a year longer.

Knowing Atlus and how tight their budgets usually are I expect P5 to be nothing but a slight improvement over P4 which already was nothing but a slight improvement over P3, and on top of it, cross-gen. The game will again be heavily dependant on the writing I bet because... Really... What else is there to the Persona series? It's basically a visual novel if it weren't for the lazy/flat dungeons.

Well, XIV: A Realm Reborn is pretty damn amazing, but the XIII trilogy was awful.

Final Fantasy has been iffy for a while, though released some good games, FFXIV: ARR was great and the best mmo released since Vanilla WoW. But FFXIII's trilogy was met with general dislike.

Persona 5 will at the very least have good/excellent characterization. In fact, now that I think of it, I think they are pretty much unrivaled there. So between the two, my choice is Persona. Though I regret not voting for FF just to mess with the TC :P

Sure, FFXIII was just an alright game. But FFXII is one of my favorite games of all time, and FFXIV: ARR is one incredible game, the first MMO to ever hook me with a fascinating world that has gripped me more than most other games have.

Persona 4 Golden is the only Persona I've played through, but I loved the experience and I'd put it in my top 10 games of all time easily. So I'm definitely excited for Persona 5.

I guess a little bit Persona 5 as I'll actually purchase that at its release where I'll wait however long I have to to pick up a used copy of FFXV.

After reading all the recent updates on FF15, I'll have to go with Persona 5. FF15 sounds like it will disappoint a lot of people.

So ya know.. i own the best console this generation aka PS4 and both games are on the PS4 so yeah.. getting both games and i am equally excited for both ;)

^^This, as FF looks like J-Pop trash and I'm not a fan of the high school drama of Persona, because I prefer the actual Shin Megami Tensei games.

I want both, but I'm going with Persona 5 because at least that game will get released.

I was more excited for Persona 5, but after seeing the latest FF trailer and that gameplay demo, I think I'm actually more hyped for Final Fantasy now, believe it or not...

Persona 5 is a system seller. FF15 is a candidate for another great flop.

Neither, really, but Final Fantasy looks more interesting. It really looks as though some drastic changes are taking place, and even though its a stretch saying this--them saying its only 50 percent done leads me to believe they are going for something huge.
