FF is shit and has been for a while. I don't expect it to buck this trend, but I do expect it to be better than all the trash released on the PS3.
SMT is a decent time waster, though as with most SMT games the littlest thing can make me throw my controller down in disgust.
Example: In Nocturne I spent many hours beating the optional "Labyrinth" (you meet Dante from DMC) and just stepped a toe into the final level to see what the monsters were like never leaving the first floor. Well, I found out that automatically stops you from getting the "true demon" ending. Controller thrown down in disgust.
In DDS I found out the seemingly pointless decisions you make at certain parts of the game can greatly affect DDS2. Including getting an extra character to join your party. Controller thrown down in disgust.
I never really had a problem with the Devil Summoner games, but my PS2 died while playing it after a several thousand gaming hours and doubling as my DVD player for years. Luckily this was a couple years into the PS3's gen and the slim had just come out for $300. Though idk if I read a walkthrough on GameFAQ if there would be anything to make me throw down my controller in disgust.
I have never played a Persona game. I can see it's the old JRPG "high school students save the world" cliche. What's the combat like?
