How is Y's 7? is it coming across the sea? How about Y's 1 and 2 remakes that were just made on psp? How do you play imports that don't have English subs? (do these have them) One of the biggest part of a rpg is the story and there is a lot of text in rpgs..do you know Japanese or something. The only import I ever bought was Demons Souls and ironically it was so good and I love atlus I am buying the Atlus published deluxe edition.Wii: Monster Hunter 3 Tri~
360: Tales of Versperia and BlazBlue
Ps3: Killzone 2
PSP: Ys Seven :D

PSP: PERSONAAAAA!!! :D:D
yokofox33
How is Persona? It obviously did not get a good score here, but I noticed GS rates PSP RPGs very low if there isn't a Final Fantasy in the title. I heard the encounter rate was extremely high. I'm going to get it, but I'm just wondering if I should get it now or perhaps wait for a sale if the game isn't all that great.
I have it and its great!! You are right Gamespot has not once gave any psp rpgs good scores, its like they hate the psp in general and it pisses me off as ds fanboys think that all the games suck as they never played them. I love psp rpgs and I can list a ton...all of which got bad reviews here.. DO NOT trust gamespot psp reviews period, especially if you are rpg fanatic.Persona 1 PSP has great translation , sharp smooth graphics, and uses a google maps like style over world map and 3d dungeons. IT's a great game. If you have ever played cla$$ic dungeon crawlers like Might and Magic, wizardry, dark spire, class of heroes ect.. you will know the style of the 3d fps view. It goes into a 2d isometric view on battles and dungeon rooms. Dungeon rooms(or building rooms/safe areas) lets you talk to every person in your party and talk to other npcs, solve puzzels, open boxes etc.. There is also shops and hte velvet room for persona fusion from spell cards. The battle is like old school FF 3-6 people on one side can be formed in a multiple row grid and the other side is the demons. You deck yourself out with guns, melee weapons and each persona levels up and you gain skills/spells for them. You collect more spell cards to make personas by conversing with the demons, each charcter can do acts(everyone has different commands) like bribe, sing, cheat etc...You have to make your persona like you, think the Oblivion persuasion mini game(but better)... All in all its a great game...
Wii- Nothing at the moment. I played a lot of Wii games over the Summer (Punch-Out!!, ExciteBots, Klonoa, House of the Dead Overkill), but nothing since.
360- Halo 3: ODST, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
PC- Quake Live, Mirror's Edge
PS3- Dirt 2 demo.... Some indestructible car or something that we couldn't destroy. :P
ps3 : blazblue T.T love this game
PSP: dISSIDA
ds : kh
wii : brawl as always oh and the muramusa demon blade game roxs!
360 : gears
[QUOTE="Wartzay"]After all these years I've stuck with vanilla BF2. Is that mod any good? The best? PR and Forgotten Hope are the 2 best BF2 mods. PR (obviously) focuses on realism and does a very good job of it while retaining the fun factor. I have not played FH, but I've heard very good things about it. If you want World War gameplay with the BF2 engine, that is the mod for you. Both mods have lots of players and plenty of servers.Eve online, Company of Heroes, Arma II, Project Reality mod for BF2

PR has lots of awesome features.
Constructible buildings.
Destroyable buildings
More realistic armor crewing (Gunner, Driver, Commander)
4km x 4km maps instead of BF2's 1km x 1km (and with a large portion of the maps designated out of bounds too)
Proper Anti-Air weapons.
A spotter can mark targets with a laser and call in guided bombs.
Adjusted recoil, range, damage for many weapons.
New factions like the UK, Militia(based on Chechnyan rebels), Taliban, US army, and Russians all properly equipped and textured.
Tons of new maps designed around PR gameplay.
Restricted kits.
Removal of medibag/resupplybag spam.
New animations to get rid of dolphin diving.
And plenty more!

Ok, now you're getting me super hyped, just one more thing, does it also have bots?
Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, Shenmue 2, Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition, and Lightning Force

You can play singleplayer against bots, but I am not sure if they use the new multi-crewed vehicles (choppers, armor, certain jets, etc) properly. They have been working on it (.87 patch added AI support for a lot of vehicles) but it isnt perfect.Edit: I forgot to mention the new gameplay modes.
The standard BF2 flag assault mode has been modified so flags have to captured in order, no more musical flags gameplay anymore!.
Insurgency Mode is US/Brits/Russia against Militia or Taliban. The insurgents have to protect weapons caches which spawn around the city against the coalition forces hunting for them. IEDs and suicide bomb cars even out the Insurgents' lack of heavy weapons.
