Yeah you wont be disappointed even at full price... I am also looking forward to starting ng+ to see what carries over. Gotta get off this f'n moon first!
Prey was one of my favourite games of last year.
Arkane just nails world building, I love their games so much.
@xantufrog: Same! Especially if you are really busy like me but also a perfectionist who likes to see games through like me. The things is I was playing a lot of rpgs last year(persona and final fantasy) and those took me a long time too lol
@n64dd: I didn’t see a way to add you using your Switch name ID so here is my Switch Friend Code:

Slitherine continuing to improve. Not up to AAA standards yet, but each of their 40k titles appears to have been more successful than the last and it's showing in the improved production quality between titles.
A bit stripped down for a 4x, (i.e. no diplomacy, and a barebones tech tree), but I've been having fun because Slitherine titles tend to capture the burlier aspects of some of the 40k units; so your tactical marines blasting an ork war boss square in the face may yield as little as .3 damage, lol.
Battle Chasers Nightwar. It's really fantastic. If you have any vague fondness for turn-based RPG's don't miss this one it's the dogs dangly bits.
Well it looks like I’ll be playing something else besides Octopath Traveller this weekend as they didn’t have any in stock at my local Walmart or Best Buy and my local EBGames has been shuttered recently. Just ordered it at Best Buy and it should come in on Tuesday. I blame Friday the 13th.
Maybe some P3 FES, which I've been playing on and off. I'm mainly just waiting for the wave of Mania Plus, the MMX collections, the Shenmue collection, and Yakuza 0 & Kiwami 2 to hit starting next week.
@Renegade_Fury: So amped for Shenmue collection in August. I played Shenmue so long ago that I'm pretty sure it's gonna feel brand new. Then Dragon Quest XI in September & Red Dead Redemption 2 in October. The rest of this year will be lit lol
@valgaav_219: Yeah, this year is definitely backloaded for sure. In September and October, Fist of the North Star, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Mega Man 11, and Spider-Man are coming out too, so I'm not really sure how I'm going to fit in the time to play all of these games, lol.
Just got the SEGA Genesis Classics.
Have 50 games to play, but the first one will be Shining Force II.
Maverick Blackout MT.....I've had 4 of them....
You're in Aus aren't you? You should chuck an Olimat on it if you haven't already.
Looks nice !
What's the goal of the game though ? Just exploring other planets, no man's sky style ?
@R4gn4r0k: Right now it's still in Alpha so there's no real goals but once the game actually launches it's supposed to be basically GTA online in space. You can trade, mine, engage in piracy, bounty hunting, exploration, combat, first person shooting, racing, dogfighting, etc. It's kinda what Sean Murray promised us with NMS mixed with GTA MMO style action. The Alpha right now only has a small section of one system but the full game will have hundreds of planets to explore and several systems. The game is gonna have procedurally created planets mixed with handcrafted areas to explore. It's going to be kinda like NMS when exploring but with more lore since there are a lot of handcrafted elements.
Stellaris at the moment for me

Just to add, Squadron 42 (single player side) will be a modern incarnation of Wing Commander. A cinematic story driven game with a multitude of branching possibilities depending on how you play, the success or failure of missions and how and who you get on with on board the main ship. If you've played Wing Commander (especially 3 or 4) you;'ll get the idea of it.
Star citizen will be (as Quadknight says) an MMO with a ton of options. There will very likely be long multi mission story quests to follow but there will also be the typical NPC quests/jobs as well as those generated by the players, things like escorting another player (trader) through a dodgy part of space or maybe signing on as a gunner on a multi-crew ship. Really it will be what the player base makes it, in a similar way to the EVE online universe. The main thing being is that you are not stuck to a player class, you can do what your ship can do and there will be nothing to stop someone flying trade missions in a hauler then changing to a single seat fighter and going off on bounty hunting missions.
@SecretPolice: Great Lakes, you from michigan?
Myself...Octopath Traveler(already 4 hours in. Going to play Gloomhaven with my friends. Have to learn how to play it first, really intense.
You take that back, now!!! WTH I ever do to you?
K, Two guys, one from Michigan and the other from Ohio, find a magic lamp, rub it, a genie pops up, tells them they each get a wish, the Michigan guy goes first, I want a hundred foot wall built around my state to keep those damn Ohio State Buckeyes out. Poof, a hundred foot wall is now around Michigan.
The genie then asks the Ohio guy, I suppose now you want a hundred foot wall built around Ohio to keep out those Michigan State Wolverines? The Ohio guy says, No, I want you to fill the inside of that hundred foot wall you just built around Michigan with water. Lololollolol.
Yeah, I'm round on both ends and hi in the middle..... OhiO.... baby!!! :P
Just finished The Last Guardian. What a wonderful game. A few places of frustration, but I'm never going to forget how this game made me feel
That and Bloodborne are the only PS games I want to play. Ridiculously few PS owners are interested in TLG, it seems. I know it's wonky and frustrating in places, but it still looks great, imo.
