What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I will be playing Yakuza Kiwami. Started playing it last weekend, and my initial impressions is that it's not as great as Yakuza 0. The fighting is a bit tedious so far. Story though is where it's at. Looking forward to see what happens. What about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

NOT Warframe. Not predominantly, anyway. Shock and horror, but with the Acolytes event over (3 out of 5 rares, not bad) and me getting pretty much everything I wanted from the Unvaulting, I'm slowing way down on the game. There's apparently a new frame releasing very soon, but I'm happy to take my time getting him.

Instead, I've been playing a bit of Doom 2016 and a nice relaxing dash of Steep, while I decide between starting a new Total War: Warhammer II campaign and having another crack at finishing the first two Darksiders games before the third one comes out.

You know what? I think I'll flip a coin.

Update: Heads. Total War: Warhammer II it is.

Monstah Hunter World... great sequel. Tho it's not portable anymore, the 60 frames are a real treat.

How many hours are you into Octopath?

Around 40 hours I think. Finishing the last chapter 3 I have, the one from H'aanit.
So this weekend I will begin tackling the final chapters of all the characters.

100%ing Rayman Legends Definitive Edition.

I'll be continuing on with Shenmue HD and maybe some Dead by Daylight.

Trying to plat Shadow of the Colossus and gonna play some mad max.

Also gonna hunt some trophies in UC4.

DOOM (2017) and Owlboy

Story and structure wise it stays completely the same. In that sense I feel the game is very linearly structured. I care for some stories more than others though, and am definitely hooked to see what happens next.
In terms of gameplay, it only gets better when you unlock more and more sidejobs. The fights get more difficult and more fun as you progress.

I would probably play some Counter Strike Global Offensive on my weekends...

Assassin's Creed Origins and Warframe.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, probably finish Dishonored 2, maybe play Prey

Prey any good?

I think it's pretty cool. Visually it's outstanding. Setting-wise, it kind of falls in the range of Deus Ex, F.E.A.R., etc. It's not really "scary" though, not really action-packed either, it's rather slow moving and "creepy" at best.

I bought it in a dual pack with Dishonored 2. Needless to say Dishonored 2 is my favorite of the two but Prey has quite a few merits if you are looking for a good sci-fi fix.

Just started playing shenmue.

Might be playing horizon zero dawn, and probably some skyrim vr or fallout vr, I'm rusty, need to get some fitness back.

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Dishonored 2. Might start Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Sleeping dogs, Halo 5 MP, Maximo army of zin

We got water in our 2nd bedroom so I had to move the entire setup out of there :( luckily everything seems to be fine- none of it got wet.

So that means its Switch only this weekend. I'll play Rocket League, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Fortnite and enjoy that free online play while I still can.

I'm really itching to get back into Breath of the Wild. I feel my first playthrough was too rushed. I'll wait until the paid online begins and then play that until December when Smash releases and buy the yearly subscription.

More Octopath Traveler for me. I’ve finished all of the eight characters stories and got all 12 job classes. I think all that’s left is some side quests and beating the final dungeon and boss of the game.

I may hop back into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for a bit to get ready for the upcoming Torna release.

Monster Hunter World. Can't stop. Need help.

Ive had Origins since last year and haven't fired it up yet. Do you like it?

@SolidGame_basic: Think of Kiwami more like an expansion pack to Yakuza 0, because other than the engine and a couple of new substories added, it's a PS2 game at its core. Yakuza 2 is when the series started to resemble more of what it is now.

Oh, and make sure to upgrade and get the "Kiwami" heat moves. Even though they teach you about them in the tutorial, you have to unlock them yourself, and they're basically necessary if you don't want bosses regenerating health. You should also try to learn the Tiger Drop for your Dragon Style as soon as possible, because it does even more insane damage than usual in Kiwami.

Been doing lots of Monster Hunter World. The game is fairly addicting.

I just got Shenmue 1 and 2 on PC, also. I may dive into those.

Recently finished Vampyr, thoroughly enjoyed it. My next single player game is either the the Detective Sci-FI game "The Observer" or Nier. I also play several online games, this weekend probably Forza 7 and Hyper Universe(2D moba). Probably going to dabble in various other Indies as well.

These days I really have a hard time focusing only on one or 2 games, so much good stuff out there its crazy.

Destiny 2 and H1Z1

World of Warcraft and hopefully No no Kuni 2 if I get the time.

@SolidGame_basic: You are right. Kiwami is not as great as Zero. But it is still a fine experience.

Trying to get into either Alien Isolation and Company of Heroes, but not really feeling either so far.

Monster Hunter World

Just started today and Im confused as hell (first MH game)

Any advice or tips are welcomed.

Im kind of overwhelmed with the amount of crafting and menus and everything.

I realized that 2 years ago and decided I liked not seeing them lol. It's easier to read stuff.

The boss health regeneration is so dumb, but thanks for letting me know.

Seems like the story is interesting. I'm only a few hours in.

Picked up up the horizon complete collection last night, its on sale for 11 bucks psn so I'll probly get to that eventually, but I mainly got it cus it was so cheap
