What are you playing this weekend, SW?

Just recently beat 13 Sentinels on Switch. Interesting game with innovative story elements. Overall, enjoyed it but was a bit longer than I wanted it to be (played 33 hours) As for this weekend, II’ll be continuing my playthroughs of Xenoblade 3 and Neon White. I have enough down time until Bayonetta 3 comes out lol.

Wrapping up Entropy Zero 2, which was just an absolute gift for a Half Life fan like myself.

Also playing some more Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 1 at 4K/60 and hopefully some more Horizon: Forbidden West.

When does Bayonetta release?

I recently started playing MGSV: The Phantom Pain again. My game of the last gen along with TLOU2.

I am determined to make it my 8th platinum trophy but holy shit this is going to be hard.

205 hours in and the grind is absurd. Its one of my favourite games ever though so I'll force myself to put in the work.

Anyone here have the platinum?

I am missing:

• All Key dispatch missions
• all blueprints & key items
• develop 300 items
• all mission tasks
• S-Rank all missions

5 trophies away from the platinum.

I'm completely enamored with No Man Sky right now. Love it. As a launch buyer who hasn't really touched the game since that window of time when it had like ten hours of compelling cintent, I have to say this game is a raving success all these years later. It lived up to the hype after a really long burn.

It still feels overwhelming at first but once the player approaches it like you would a minecraft session, it's easier to conceptualize surviving and thriving in space.

Still working through Rogue Legacy 2. Such a wonderful game.

Rogue Legacy 1 and 2

I'll be continuing my journey for the Demon Souls Remake platinum. I'm almost there. Unfortunately for me, I missed a questline with one of the characters to get the demon brandt, so I'll have to get it in NG++ now, which I'm not happy about because the enemies just hit harder and harder. Ugh. Still, only six more trophies to go. Mostly just collecting the rest of miracles and spells, etc. Easy stuff.

I heard of the Pacman World Remake, so if that's out now, I'll definitely be buying it and playing that amazing game.

Hunt: Showdown. There's an event going on.

Other games I might flip to:
Started playing Doom 3 again, for some reason.
At least one round of Binding of Isaac is inevitable.
Trying out some Lonely Mountains: Downhill. Cool game, but the lack of MP is a huge missed opportunity.
Might play some more Prodeus, which is fucking awesome so far, but I don't want to play it too much before it's finished.

Lawnmower simulator. I just got the platinum trophy in Mafia one. The race level on classic difficulty is considered one of the hardest missions in gaming history. It took me two days of failing the mission to beat it -_-

Rogue Legacy is such a gem....

im playing through p4g on my steam deck, and also bloons TD. On top of that, I got gamepass working on my deck yesterday...its a super easy process. The cloud gaming works nearly flawlessly. So im playing hades and as dusk falls on gamepass also. I need to get back to marvels guardians of the galaxy after im done one of these games.

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PS5 for the last two weeks. Currently on Chapter 16 so I will probably be finishing it up this weekend. Going to go right into the Yuffie dlc after that. This game has been absolutely amazing, totally loving it. The character stuff, (interactions, voice acting, writing) is fantastic. It’s a beautiful looking game, has a great soundtrack, and the gameplay mechanics are a lot of fun. I love what they’ve done with the story. This game will be a very easy 10/10 for me. I can’t wait to see what they do with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Love this post!! It really is an amazing game. You should do the bonus bosses at the end. There's a couple of nice surprises there. Also, you'll be just in time for Crisis Core!

I'm just gonna clear out my Steam backlog games starting with FF7 Remake Intergrade, Tales of Arise, & Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. I already completed Spider-Man Remastered PC and boy, that game plays so well on PC I really had a blast playing high detail settings, I was able to fall in love with that version for the most part.

Yea, one of them is a great throwback :)

Tales of Arise is a game I really wanted to play, but it escaped me. Hoping to get a good deal on a digital copy during the holidays.

@SolidGame_basic: I pick it up during the spring sales awhile back so got it on a good deal. Just wait for Steam winter sales, it's not that far off.

Soul Hackers 2

Continuing Elex 2, though I'm starting to slow down as its getting more combat heavy later in the game which is very much not its strength.

I picked up Cursed to Golf, and played a bit, first impressions weren't great but I need to give it another try since I think it'll be more fun once past all the rather tedious tutorial stuff. it just felt a bit slow/too many animations for everything.

If either of the above don't do the job I'll give Sniper Elite 5 a go after @R4gnar0k convinced me its worth playing in another thread

Either Persona 5 Royal Edition on PS5 or Fire Emblem Three Houses on Switch. A bit pissed there is no upgrade option for the Persona 5 native PS5 version coming out. It is making me not want to support their games anymore and I absolutely love the Persona series. Atlus needs to do better with their fan appreciation.

Football season back so dipping back into football manager and still playing some wreckfest on the switch.

As expected, I've been piling the hours into Total War: Warhammer III since the release of the Immortal Empires Beta. Predictably, there are a lot of bugs and oversights. Less predictable were the heavy nerfs to my favourite factions: getting T4 Skavenblight before turn 8 is so much more difficult now, and taking 2 turns to recruit Hawk Riders is crippling. Still, after some adjustments, I'm back to my usual groove.

I've said I will only uninstall Warhammer II once I'm confident WHIII can replace it. I'm impressed enough with what I played that I've scheduled for WHII to be uninstalled when patch 2.1 arrives in just over a week's time, and for WHIII to be moved to my SSD when 2.2 arrives in October.

Far Cry 6, which is one of the funniest (unintentionally) games I’ve played in a long time.

@SolidGame_basic: I only put about an hour or so in last night too early to say much, but pretty standard for an SMT game as far as combat, just with own minor differences, presentation is nice and there's a good deal of audio dialog so far (so it isn't all text based).

Replaying Max Payne 3 on the Steam Deck.

Got back into Star Citizen, it's a lot of fun. Been a while since I played it, there's a lot to do and obviously it's still buggy and in alpha but it's pretty damn stable.

Might try to finish up Sniper Elite 5, I think I'm on the last mission or at least close to it.

Yeah it's good-bad. I didn't like it but it is certainly, ummm...entertaining in its own way. It's kind of like The Room of gaming. AAA budget, bargain-bin production.

I planned on playing Cult of the Lamb but have run into several game breaking bugs and have decided to set it aside for a month or so while the patches fix things.

So, I needed a game that might occupy me for a day or two and found Inside on Game Pass tonight. Very cool with a ton of atmosphere.

Psychonaughts 2 and am loving it! What a sequel.

Saints Row on the XSX, in major need of a patch,but still entertaining. So many games are released buggy glitchy messes? Sad.

Lonely Mountain: Downhill, Morrowind, Outer Wilds, and I'm not sure what else. This is the first weekend I will be playing my new Steam Deck.

Tomb Raider (2013) on my PS4. Good game so far. Gives me Uncharted and TLOU vibes

Overall though really enjoying it still. Great game.

Yeah, I agree. I've only played a few minutes of it, but I like it so far.

Just finished Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and my god, what an absolutely fantastic game. Incredibly epic final few boss fights and a great ending that gave me goosebumps. So can’t wait to see what they do with the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. They did a stellar job with this game. Easily a 10/10.
