What are you playing this weekend, SW?

Going to try to play some more Bayonetta Origins before Zelda releases! It’s a very relaxing game with a lot of charm and the gameplay is unique while staying true to the series. The Bayonetta template is there, just with a slower pace and simplified combat, but still fun. The next two months should be awesome, Zelda and FF16 back to back!

Advance Wars 1+2 reboot and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Recently finished Horizon: Forbidden West Burning Shores so thinking about getting back to Spider-Man on the PS5 and playing through that to get ready for Spider-Man 2.

Started playing The Legend of Zelda on the Switch. Got the urge to play through that before Tears of the Kingdom hits.

At the final boss in Wo Long on Xbox Series X. Would like to finish that off.

FF6 Pixel Remaster. Haven't played fully in years.

I'll be playing Halo: Master Chief Collection and might try some Hades.

God of War(2018)

Dabble weekend. Bit of Grounded, bit of Age of Wonders IV and Planetfall, bit of Kena, bit of Kingdoms of Amalur, and maybe a bit of Returnal. I'm still taking my long break from Warframe, but the next Nightwave is coming up soon, so I should at the very least spend my creds and see how it goes. I'll do that on Sunday.

All to pass the time until Total War: Warhammer III patch 3.1, and hopefully my next Sisters of Twilight campaign.

I stopped playing BotW when I got to the final boss. Now I gotta finish it so my wife can play it while I play the new one next weekend. I also wanna try GT7 on PSVR2 finally. And maybe try out RedFall.

I've been telling my niece I'll sit down and write a story with her for over a year now. Just found out she wants to be a writer when she grows up and now I feel like a fink for putting it off so long.

By myself: Horizon Forbidden West (since I just bought the burning shores DLC)... holy shit, best graphics of any game. 97 hours in. Not sure how much is left of the dlc.

With friend: Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Arguably the best soulslike not made by From Software. Its excellent. Doesn't quite reach the heights of Sekiro or Elden Ring though.

Redfall.

I'm slumming it at 30fps,but it's arkane and I'm enjoying it.

Still a 7-10 for me.

I'd rather a 62 metacritic game to play than have no redfall at all

@R4gn4r0k: Only thing I know is that they added more penances to complete which you get cosmetics from. They're pretty nice, already have some for the ogryn.

Still playing Star Wars: Jedi Survivor as we speak. The game is helluva massive in scope and having fun exploring is what's taking me this long to complete, but that's the best part. It's Uncharted in Space is what I like about Star Wars Jedi. Also, just pick up Ravenlok as well so basically, I'll be playing both of those games this weekend.

RE4 god version (PC with gfx mods), picking up Hogwarts again (only played 3 hours) now that it's perfect on my PC, Grim Dawn for some good oldschool D4 prep, and ofcourse my usual competitive online games.

What graphics mods? All i saw on nexus are nude mods for Ada and Ashley🤡🤡🤡

DLSS injector. As per DF, it looks better than native due to the poor TAA while also giving high fps.

But yes also nude mods will be great installing them now.

I'll be in a hotel room with my glorious steam deck.... I have a gig tonight and then tomorrow I'm heading to Asbury Park New Jersey to see a band, staying over and coming home the next day. Perfect steam deck weekend.

I have been playing Quantum Break. It's good! Definitely a movie game like Uncharted where they prioritized animations over responsive gameplay, but I'm actually OK with this whole play a chapter, watch a chapter approach. They're embracing the movie game concept and at least watching it doesn't mean I have to do those rediculous non-gameplay segments of moving a ladder or turning on a TV or tieing a winch to a tree.... Plays well enough on steam deck too.

Jedi Survivor. Cool game. Like the first but betterer.

I would also like to get in on some Darktide, shoot me a message if the time zones line up somehow lol

TAA is indeed dogshit. If there wasn't as much shimmering without any aa, i'd play with no aa at all.

Probably finish up X3 Future Redeemed this weekend. Enjoying it. Best area to explore in Xenoblade 3 as a whole. Some nice Quality of life additions that I would liked to have seen in the base game too. Hopefully they carry them forward to future games in the series.

From next week on it's back to figuring out how these vidgyagame thingies work. Something something vector....

Yeah, the cutscenes in QB blow AWAY any realism that ND is trying.

It also really gives you a sense of the improvements to gameplay they made with Control. Control is just so good... truly one of the best of the past decade.

I was actually just joking because I was talking about the Live sequence parts ;)

Beat re4r for 2nd time. Going to run through it like 10 times, to try and get all achievements, or as many as I can. The srinter one, frugal, and s+ rank seem impossible. Heck, so does the one that says you can't use a single recovery item lol

Now trying out ghost wire Tokyo.

I need to finish my RE4 2nd run and then probably some random game...whatever catches my interest on this particular day.

@lebanese_boy: Zelda's an excellent game. Better than BoTW. Probably goty, but re4 remake is a contender imo as well.

Ghostwire Tokyo on PS Plus Extra. It is a decent game. I am glad we have subscription services nowadays to play some games without having to buy them, because imo some games are not worth buying ..

I paid the tenner to upgrade to the PS5 version of Spider-Man. I'll be playing that and probably some RE4R.

How is the state of Darktide these days? Haven't played it for a couple months.

I didn't think it was that bad, I just thought it was kind of slow-paced and the unlocks were lame.

Really wanted to like. Loved Vermintide 2.

I think the last couple of updates added more unlocks and things to do in between missions for sure.

I'd say the state of the game is quite good, I'm happy with my 30 euro purchase and I'm down for a ton more games!
