What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I will be continuing my playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom! Have one main mission left but wanted to take time to explore and enjoy what the game has to offer. About 80 hours in now. Still have a few weeks until Final Fantasy 16 comes out. Other than that, I have a few pickups that I may try out if I can get my hands away from Zelda lol: Beat Saber, SF6, and Company of Heroes.

How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

Total War: Warhammer III patch 3.1 landed on May 25th, where CA explicitly stated in the patch notes that the Ariel recruitment bug has been fixed.

So I fired it up for a Sisters of Twilight campaign the next day.

As it turned out, no, it hasn't been fixed.

And now there's a new bug where the Dwarfs forest encounter near Waterfall Palace won't fire, meaning I can't confed with Durthu as easily as I could before.

F*** it. I'm ending my long break from Warframe to go farm that new geode frame and Hildryn Prime stuff. Started on Sunday, finally got everything just a few minutes ago. Just gonna clear some junk relics and level up my new stuff over some synthwave.

Not sure yet whether I'll start Duviri or go back to play more Amalur after I'm done. Leaning towards the latter.

It gives you hints though, which is enough. Where do you find yourself getting stuck on? How far are you?

If I get stuck on anything I just talk to the steam community and they are very helpful.

It so far surpassed all my expectations. I love how I can finally experience System Shock 1&2 and Nightdive has done so much to bring this up to modern standards, without ever taking away from what made the game special in the first place.

And the sign of any good game: it just keeps getting better as you go along. I thought the game would lose steam after the first couple of levels, but it just keeps firing on all cylinders. I honestly thought this would be some random 90s game worth forgetting about. But it's the exact opposite.

Star Trek Resurgence (glitchy but decent ST Telltale romp) and more TotK.

after first elevator at reaserch lab. found another elevator that take to reactor.

on holiday abroad this week so downloaded a few games on steam to play offline on the laptop if i get a bit of downtime - this war of mine, we happy few, anno 1800 and gloomwood

Going to be playing lots of XBOX games on my glorious PC of course.

Gears 5 hivebusters dlc (finished campaign)

Halo: Infinite (about 12-13 hours into the main campaign)

I tried Redfall (cause Game Pass) lol comically bad game but its co op so why not.

You need to clear the levels in this way:

Medical > Research > Reactor > Maintenance > and I'm now at executive.

Fair warning: you can't go literally into the reactor, it'll kill you.

Also I'm using electrical weapons against the robots and physical guns against the humanoids. And finally you need to really use your grenades and find respawn locations on every level.

Gonna play AAW tomorrow when I get home from work, and probably hit the Dreamcast on Sunday and play some fighing games.

SF6, Fortnite and might start TotK.

Have not played anything since i beat RE4R a bit over 2 weeks ago. Wanted to get GP, and play through Atomic Heart, but said f it and will do it after D4. Collecting energy to nolife D4, and weeks are needed for that🤭

What score would you give Infinite in the 13h you've done on it?

Replaying Alan Wake just to get ready for the new one releasing this October and still playing Jedi Survivor as I really like the game.

Guardians of the Galaxy. I may finish it this weekend.

Starts out rough but does get better. It feels like a game made by a bunch of very enthusiastic rookie devs.....and in some ways thats a really good thing :).

Overall I have enjoyed it. QTEs are blech (but not too many), starlord can be a bit annoying (is he like that in the comics? The frat boy is strong with this one) and it is pretty unpolished.

But the other characters are great (Gamora and Groot are better than their movie counterparts imho), combat is fun after the first 2-3 chapters and i have had a few laughs along the way. Also some of the scenery is really nice and it's a bit more out there than most games (especially in the AAA space).

Man, Avengers really screwed this game over. A real shame.

Right now i'm having success with Cammy but that's mostly because i'm still using her like if it was SFIV but who knows, maybe i'll find another character or maybe i'll stick with her once again. I'm also liking Chun Li too, but she seems to be a lot harder to use now because of her stance but she also seems really fun to use ... I also want to try Guile, Zangief and Kimberly.

dealing with some wrist stuff (carpal tunnel probably) that means I can only play games with my left hand, which is not ideal being right handed.

the only thing i've been able to play this way is Darkest Dungeon 2, which fortunately is very good

Definitely more Tears of the Kingdom. Going to try some Street Fighter 6 as well.

Finishing up Baldur's Gate 2 EE. After that, maybe Metroid Prime. But want to play something recent, so maybe not.

Breath of the Wild, if i finish it I'll start Tears of the Kingdom.

Continuing playing Tears of the Kibgdom. I have already completed at least 120 Shrines. I have yet to enter my first dungeon (Wind Temple) as I feel am not ready until I am more experienced in the game.

Either Miles Morales or nothing.

I'm finishing up Sonic Frontiers mainly (which is underrated Imo), and also abit of F1 22.

Also starting to work my way through Mass Effect trilogy again.

Still playing saints row 2 as good as I remembered it probably some FIFA 23 and Forza horizon 4.

I see decided to grab Jedi Survivor despite it's crap state but was too busy with Dead Island 2 to get to it. Hopefully that's seen some updates to smooth performance. But now done with Dead Island 2, loved it, so onto Jedi Survivor at some point. For some reason also randomly started and finished a replay of Terminator Resistance, for some reason just got an itch to play it this week. Also juggling WH40K Boltgun, good fun there. Also playing through Life Is Strange Remaster, just started that. And I need to keep playing the Marvel Rising Suns game, started it but haven't made much progress, fun, but I juggle too much.

@hardwenzen: So far I would say it is at least a solid 7. About on par with a good COD game (not the quality of the original MW aka COD4/MW2 which are both masterpieces) but something like WaW or the newer MW1/MW2 reboots. good but not great.

The sandbox gameplay is pretty fun but its very FC/AC formula-esque.

Apparently the game has bad graphics and poor performance and was called a terrible PC port, but I am running it at 4K/120 ultra settings... full ray tracing.... Does not apply to me. it looks really great and is buttery smooth.

Masterchief is pretty damn bad ass and the music rocks.

Decided to play Super Metroid on the Switch and SMB3.

I picked up a game called Truck Driver. It is supposed to work with my wheel which was a selling point. That and it is on sale. I haven’t played it yet.

Diablo IV, I’m already liking it more than D3 which I was a big fan of. I do wish it was a bit more challenging but it’s still fun with a lot of options throughout the game.

Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Dragon Quest XI. I need to finish those games so I can play Tears Of The Kingdom in the future and whenever Dragon Quest XII comes out.

I don't have much time to play, but I will try Serious Sam 4 before it is removed from Gamepass.

Also continuing my quest in Bard's Tale Trilogy. Really hooked on that game.

Just bought PS Plus and will be playing TLOU Factions, PES 2021 and what ever is free on PS Plus

I have that trilogy installed on my pc, but I also have a lot of games. Your comment might get me to play. It looks amazeballs.

@AcidTango: you playing definitive version of DQ11? If not you really should! Soooo many Quality of life improvements makes it a vastly superior game imo! Amazing either way though!

I am hoping to put in some serious hours into D4 this weekend, but not sure my wife and 2 small kids are onboard that, but yeah one can dream…

I'm actually really impressed with this game tbh. Probably the best thing to ever come out from Microsoft studios imho. Way better than any Halo or Gears

I also bought TotK at a really nice price but I also have to finish Metroid Prime Remaster first before starting TotK. Somehow I feel it'll be mad overrated like BotW was but alas, I fell again for the hype and it was at 45€ so... why not
