What are your deciding factors in getting a XBOX ONE or PS4

Already decided... PS4 first, and X1 second.

xbox 1 = kinect, yes that right!

I pre-ordered Xbox 1 because I like the exclusives better on it and most of my friends are getting that console.

x1. better console and better games. i'll get the ps4 next year when it has some games i'm interested in.

I have a full-time job now, I don't think I've got the time for consoles, so I'm unsure if I will get a PS4. I would say it's unlikely.

The PC is all I need and it's pretty satisfactory.

TBH, it's about more than games, to me. The PS4, simply, appealed to me more.

Already paid fully for a PS4.

With the clown show that was the Xbox reveal and everything after it, even If I thought of getting a successor to the 360 Microsoft made sure I got a PS4 instead.

That, and more power and exclusives. Also PS4 is guaranteed to be supported the whole gen and doesn't include a gimmick that gimps the performance and ejoyment of the system; Kinect.

my factor in picking up a ps4 is that sony is better at making consoles. also, i don't feel nickel and dimed when playing a sony console.

Just like this generation I be getting both. The only question is which one am I getting at launch (maybe both). Right now the PS4 looks better on paper but the XBone has the lead in launch games.

Getting Xbox One because it has games

Not getting PS4 because it doesn't have games, but may get one if it ever gets any

I will get the Xbox One first after they reversed their policies. Also another factor is Xbox Live, I never for one second had a problem paying for Live in other words you get what you pay for, and my friends play on Xbox. The games appeal to me a little more as well.

I will however get a PS4 as well because Sony's first party studios make better titles in terms of single player games. I probably won't get it for a few years though down the road.

Especially them exclusives. Halo Gars Forza ..I cant endure that. I just cant

I preordered a PS4 after two gens with XBOX gaming as my main console.  I did so based on what came out of E3... If I were to preorder now after the XO policy changes, I may have reconsidered, but Im happy with a PS4 preorder.  I'll own the XO at some point.  My main focus however though is to build a rig by early 2014.

Im getting the X1 first and possibly the ps4 later but that could change if sony shows off some more launch games before launch. My reasons for the getting the X1 first is:

1.More attractive UI to me(Ps4 ui doesnt look god to me)

2.Launch games looks better on X1 to me Aka. KI, Ryse,Titanfall and Forza

3.Im more of a online gamer so the dedicated/300k servers sound good to me 

4.I like the features like Tv integration and NFL fantasy football stats

5. Even though I havent used either I feel like both controllers will be good but I feel like I will like the X1 controller better

6. With every console being able to be a dev kit and the self publishing I think someone will come up with a good Kinect game and the voice/gesture control

So far thats about it so far but I do have both preordered as of right now but will make my final decision before they start shipping
