Because I know that all the games I listed will turn out great. For example:

I have God of War 2, I played the Halo 3 beta, I played the Bioshock Demo, I played the Beautiful Katamari demo and Call of Duty 4 has gotten very positive previews. (and I liked Call of Duty 2 so i know that Infinity Ward has lots of talent.)

I got NCAA 2008 and its OK but there are way too many fumbles. Mostly been playing 360 games for achievements and checking out demos. I know BIOSHOCK and HALO3 will deliver. Crackdown was OK but I only got about 15 hours out of it and it just sits there. The whole 60 dollar thing has made me think a lot more before buying anything.
