[QUOTE="theuncharted34"]Yeah FFXIII was bad.I was disappointed in KZ3, and I thought FF 13 was going to be great but it was horrible.

-Splinter Cell: Double Agent
-Uncharted: DF
-L4D2
-CoD: WaW
-MAG
None of these games are bad/terrible imo; however, they have all been major disappointments to me. MAG's the only mediocre one on that list.
Surprisingly I haven't been mad with any games I've bought this gen. Since I was a high schooler when this gen started, I made a lot more smart decisions, read reviews, watched video reviews and such. Not all my games that I bought have been super amazing like Uncharted per say, but I've yet to had a bad gaming experience with a game I purchased for myself.

[QUOTE="spookykid143"]Gotta agree with Gears of war 2 such a disappointing sequal.I'm not sure how they could screw up the MP so bad, but at least horde was fun.1.Gears of war 2

1. Star Ocean 4: My God, wtf?!? One of the worst games I've played: horrible dialogue, annoying characters, dreadful voice-acting, etc.
2. Metal Gear Solid 4: My biggest disappointment from this gen. It's nowhere near as good as the previous games, imo.
3. Devil May Cry 4: Gameplay-wise, it's okay, but the backtracking is bad. You face the same enemies & bosses in the same environment three times, and there's a couple of annoying things like that board min-game.
4. Far Cry 2: The trailers looked so amazing, but the actual game was not. Gunplay is weak, random guard posts, malaria, having to drive to your destination for like 10 (maybe more because of the respawning enemies). MP wasn't enjoyable for me as well since everyone just used grenade launchers. Whoever launched the first hit won.
5. The 3rd Birthday: Bland characters, awful story, wonky camera, bad controls, a few boring boss fights and sometimes cheap with one-hit kills.
6. Heavenly Sword: Shallow gameplay, lots of screen-tearing and framerate problems.
7. SMT: Strange Journey: Another big disappointment. I love the MegaTen series, but this one disappointed me. The first half of the story was boring, imo, and the second half even has problems like not properly presenting Law and Chaos' views on the situation. They were too extreme. Also, the battle system was pretty bland and lacked flavor. For an ordinary JRPG, it's average, but for an SMT game, it's abysmal.
8. Crisis Core: FFVII: Didn't enjoy the gameplay: extremely easy and the DMW was annoying, especially when it occured every three seconds. Story and dialogue weren't that great too, imo.
9. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: Awful gameplay, imo. I didn't enjoy this one bit.
10. Valkyria Chronicles II: I loved the first VC, but I was disappointed with the sequel. Story was predictable & bad with too much anime-cliche, characters weren't likable (aside from maybe a few), lots of filler missions (which ruined the pacing), recycled maps, and the credit system was flawed.
