1. Wi-fi
2. Save your movies and pictures to your own hdd
3.Extra Media ports including if you want to usb hard drive to transfer or back up saves( you always need more space)
4. Internet Browser ( I use this one) I know some people might argue this one but its a helpful feature if someone is on the computer
5. Free online play
6. Surprisingly no lag for a 40 player online match

Its too bad they aren't focussed in making the PS3 any better with their heated format war going on!! I think they will concentrate everything SONY has to win the format war then to worry about the PS3. If sony wins the format war, it will guarantee billions of profit for the next 5 years(Until blu ray gets superceeded!)

The lack of exclusives that both interest me and is NOT on the 360 is the only thing that's keeping me from buying a PS3. Yes, there is a need to go further.

Every game is laggy at first so dont kid yourself about it. Im sure that even Resistance though i didnt see was laggy and gears is laggy at times too. eh . . . Sixaxis hasnt shown what it can do yet so its still up in the air. Not everyone has their own pc in their room. True the xbox can link with the psp but it can only stream off it not transfer or save. Much better graphics, we will see about that one it the future.

Its funny you call free online play laggy when no Xbox360 game even has 40player online play yet and one of PS3 launch games has 40player online with no lag what so ever I never lagged once online with RFOM and if you don't believe me read the reviews. I lag every few matches on my xbox360 online.

Well, it does. Still there is always going to be debate if its true 1080p or a scaled up picture. I dont think there is a game yet on the 360 that supports true 1080p but im sure there will be one.

The original Xbox had a 40 player game. PDZ comes close with 32 players. And the reason there is no lag with Resistance is because of dedicated servers. And if you lag every few matches on Xbox 360 online, then you need to stop picking the servers with the lowest connection bars...

some games dont show connection bars. Even gears didnt show it until the recent update.

the out of box blu-ray player is not a fully functional blu-ray player. The wireless ps3 controllers constantly cut out. The UI is the same as the PSP, and sony knows most people thought the PSP interface sucked. Lots of exclusivity loss to Microsoft. Not as powerful as sony promised. People need to keep in mind, Sony has a track record of overpromising and underachieving. As far as xbox live and sony's online go, Xbox live gives you voice communication no matter what game you are playing. you get your component cables out of the box, (the premium) so you are not expected to buy a 600.00 system, then shell out another 80-100 bucks to get the cables seperately that make the system do what it was made to do.

Three of those are correct, but 1.) online is not free, but it's $5.00 a month to play and participate in any game or tournament 2.) who needs mgs when you have Same Fisher? 3.) oh, you repeated yourself with free online play that is inferior to the $5.00 per month service. Here's what the PS3 doesn't offer: -great games right now or 2 years down the road -great graphics for the power it boasts -using your console as a HD-DVDR cable box -affordability -rumble -Halo, Gears of War, best version of Oblivion -Achievements and gamerscore -wireless wheel with force feedback -HD cables in the box -oh and did I say great games now or 2 years down the road? Should I go on?

360 does offer free online play. If you make a new account it comes with 30 days of Gold member access (which includes online play). So if you can't afford $4 /month you can just make a new account every month.

It's not convenient but it is free.

True but at the time 360 had as much judgment on it for the price just as the ps3 has on the 600 price or even bigger. Its just the ps3 has a bigger load to carry then the 360 now. In some cases the ps3 made teh 360 look good because of a 600 price tag but the out of the box functionality for the ps3 is quite cheap on what the machine can do compared to the 360.

Ok, Blue Dragon is going to be great, Motorstorm sucks horribly, Forza will be better than Gran Turismo (wait a minute, Gran Turismo looks a lot like PGR3), FF Versus XIII will be great but KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Fable 2 will be great as well and you have 3 titles instead of 1. Socom has nothing on Gears of War, you could keep Rachet but I'd rather take Conker any day. Speaking of TIEs in games, that's a bunch of crap. Your launch sucked, your console sucks, and do I need to go any further? X360 was stellar and nothing less SINCE day 1.

-if i remember correctly the 360 got bashed for the same reason about games. 360 didnt get a big hit until Oblivion. And a Blockbuster till a year later. Give it time. -Do you really think its that easy to just unlock power of a system. It took developers a good amount of time to use the power of the ps2 and xbox. The first Halo look great but it was near to what that machine was capable. Same applied to ps2. We never knew the ps2 capable of a game like God of War. -That one isnt out yet -Affordable. That a funny one, considering that the 360 wasnt seen as affordable as soon as the ps3 announced the price. Ironic. -I do miss rumble but sometime you just dont notice it. Unless you are playing MGS2 at the tanker part and no rumble. WTF! -Halo(duh, first party). the way things are going with exclusives, i wouldnt rule it out but its a very slim chance (besides its a third party exclusive). Best version( i will wait till the verdict) -Could care less -Most people who bought the ps3 had a ps2 so most likely they had a component cable. -Should i remind you that the 360 has been out over a year so yeah it better have great games by now. Of course both systems will have their bad, good, great , and masterpieces two years from now.

You're kidding right? Three of those are correct, but 1.) online is not free, but it's $5.00 a month to play and participate in any game or tournament 2.) who needs mgs when you have Same Fisher? 3.) oh, you repeated yourself with free online play that is inferior to the $5.00 per month service. Here's what the PS3 doesn't offer: -great games right now or 2 years down the road -great graphics for the power it boasts -using your console as a HD-DVDR cable box -affordability -rumble -Halo, Gears of War, best version of Oblivion -Achievements and gamerscore -wireless wheel with force feedback -HD cables in the box -oh and did I say great games now or 2 years down the road? Should I go on?

PS3 Has Same Fisher, PS3 will have the Better obvilion thanks, No good Games two years down the road? MGS4, VF5, Naughty Dog Game, Socom, FFXIII and Versus, Rachet and Clank, Heavy Rain, Motorstorm, Gran Turismo... Must i go on? Oh and dont respond with Forza2 as even the devolpers complain with lack of space 12 tracks lmfao...... Great Graphics its kinda Pathetic when FIRST gen games TIE the Competitions 2nd Gen games....

Ok, Blue Dragon is going to be great, Motorstorm sucks horribly, Forza will be better than Gran Turismo (wait a minute, Gran Turismo looks a lot like PGR3), FF Versus XIII will be great but KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Fable 2 will be great as well and you have 3 titles instead of 1. Socom has nothing on Gears of War, you could keep Rachet but I'd rather take Conker any day. Speaking of TIEs in games, that's a bunch of crap. Your launch sucked, your console sucks, and do I need to go any further? X360 was stellar and nothing less SINCE day 1.

Blue Dragon is already a great game, just only in Japan. Motorstorm, have you played it? And by played it, im mean not the demo. Of course neither have i but it aint going to suck. By GT which one? If you are talking about GTHD compared to PGR3 then fine. Its just that PGR3 was a launch game for 60 bucks, GTHD free looks just as good even slightly better. All we have seen it pics of GT and Forza so what the game will play as, we will have to wait. Those are great 360 games but FF is a game that people will play for times to come compared too three games you put down after you beat unless you want to beat everything. Socom vs, Gears of war, i will take gears but just because they are two different games. Socom vs. GRAW or Vegas is a better comparison. All Launches suck its just a matter how bad. Get real man, all consoles look bad in the first couple of months. Since it launched? Funny how M$ called their launch line the best ever, there were only about three games worth buying. Kameo,PDZ and PGR3.

x360 doesnt offer next-gen animation - Condemned: Criminal Origins has the best animation I've seen in any game.
x360 doesnt offer next-gen physics - Saints Row and Oblivion have next gen physics
x360 doesnt offer next-gen geometry -Gears Of War has the best environment geometry of any game I've seen.
x360 doesnt offer next-gen sound - If you are talking about 7.1 audio than maybe thats true but 5.1 audio is definatly the only thing I need.
x360 doesnt offer next-gen resolution - It offers 720p and 1080p. Virtual Tennis 3 and NBA Street Home Court are both NATIVE 1080p confirmed by the devs themselves.
x360 doesnt offer next-gen game length - Oblivion was sooo damn long I never finished every quest.
x360 doesnt offer free online - No free online but it has a very good price for a year of a FAR superior online service than PSN no and's if's or but's.
x360 doesnt have mgs and ff games - FF11 and a new FF MMO game for 360 and PC. No MGS 4 (at least yet) but 360 has alot better.
x360 doesnt have free online - You repeated yourself meaning you can't think of anything else.
And I'll add in Rumble >>> Six Degrees of Freedom.

yeah the systems been out a few months and i love how u can say that.... the 360 has been out a year....

Better quality how? Not in the graphics department, 360 has a better GPU and xenos has more RAM (512 to be exact) compared to the latestation 3.
