Better quality how? Not in the graphics department, 360 has a better GPU and xenos has more RAM (512 to be exact) compared to the latestation 3.

I hate this argument. Yes, the 360 has 512 of ram. PS3 has 512 of ram too its just split for two different functionalities it makes it look like it only has 256 but its really 512 split into two sections of 256.

What the hell is next gen game length

Well, i guess it depends on what game it is. Really, i have no idea. But i guess if im playing a rpg im expecting to play a 40-50 game or more.

You're kidding right? Three of those are correct, but 1.) online is not free, but it's $5.00 a month to play and participate in any game or tournament 2.) who needs mgs when you have Same Fisher? 3.) oh, you repeated yourself with free online play that is inferior to the $5.00 per month service. Here's what the PS3 doesn't offer: -great games right now or 2 years down the road -great graphics for the power it boasts -using your console as a HD-DVDR cable box -affordability -rumble -Halo, Gears of War, best version of Oblivion -Achievements and gamerscore -wireless wheel with force feedback -HD cables in the box -oh and did I say great games now or 2 years down the road? Should I go on?

please...alot of people are already beginning to forget about sam fisher. splinter cell was cool yes... but it wasnt memorable like mgs series. snake will be remembered 50 years from now..but sam fisher would already be forgotten. I also wouldnt doubt it if a much cooler spy/espionage agent came around that was cooler than sam fisher that's not part of the mgs series anytime soon...

Only to transfer files. The PSP can remotely control the PS3, as in you can view your PS3 content on your handheld PSP, wireless.

so am i. We are all waiting for the games to come out. but then again every console goes through this. The 3-5 month period where nothing good comes out, it sucks but we go through it every new console.

Xenos only has 10mb of onboard ram, vs 256 on the PS3. If needed, the RSX can use the additional 256 system ram as well. Get your facts straight. the xbox system has 512 total which it shares with the GPU, not 512 of dedicated video ram...

i think the better word is stream. You cant transfer files on psp to 360.

The Xenos has 10MB of EDRAM directly on the gpu die. The EDRAM contains 192 floating point processors that perform AA and HDR without effecting the GPU's workload. It's nothing like VRAM. The 360 has the RAM advantage in almost every way. Unified RAM is much better because the developers can use as much as is needed for the cpu and gpu. Plus Microsoft patented new techniques for fitting gigs worth of info in to the RAM. And the 360 uses less of it's RAM for the OS. So it seems that you need to get your facts straight as well.

Bigger harddrive, bigger discs, better CPU, free online and Final Fantasy.

It's stupid to think PS3 has nothing to offer over Xbox 360 but what I think is stupid is just how little of it there is.

Nothing worth the extra $200.

AGREED!!! To the author of this topic, what does an xflop1.5 offer to consumers?? -over priced last gen consol -custom face plates LOL -a gaming library that consists of overrated non innovative shooting games -games that aren't on HD-DVD. -after one year of being available thare has only been one blockbuster game released............geow -a last gen consol that plays games on DVD's that was rushed. -you have to spend an extra $200 for an hd-dvd player. -you have to pay for online play. -a stronger last gen consol...........did I mention a consol that plays dvd's LOL -Gears of War and Halo 3, two blockbuster games xflop fan boys can look forward too... big deal. -Blue Dragons(supposed to be a great rpg from the maker of Chrono Trigger) I really doubt that one good rpg will make PS3 fans buy or switch to an xflop, by the way on IGN.com that game is supposed to be on 3 disc's LMAO!!!

Media format= not needed, thx sony for making it cost to much. Animation= Hey Xenos! Take care of this, will you? Physics= 3 powerful cpu cores each dual threaded isn't good ebough? RIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHHTTTTTT. Geometry= Ever heard the 360's 48 unified shader pipelines? Not only are there 16 more pipelines over the ps3 GPU but each pipeline can be either a pixel or vertex providing max performance. PS3 RSX pwnd! Sound= Xenon, nuff said. Resolution= Sigh, the 360 has full 1080p res. as well. It actually handles it better than the ps3 RSX thx to the second GPU chip(10mb eDRAM) with an internal bandwith of 256 GB/s for framebuffer. PS3 had to downgrade games to 720p such as motorstorm. LAWL. Game length= Seriously, who here actually cares if they have a game with multiple discs? This means the console is cheap but still has games the same length as the ps3's. Free online= Ya, right, I'd rather have PSN that's vulnarable to hacking, viruses, not secure, laggy as crap(doesn't help that people play with 56k as well), doesn't have downloadable music, movies, or pics, no IPTV, not even close to xbox live marketplace, no windows media center, or windows connect, no gamerscore, no points, no personal profile, no xbox live vision camera, no friends list, no chatting and messages, no gamer pics, no achievements(btw, geniuos ;) ), no xbox live arcade, and has crappy linux(when I can go use my pc for windows being a million times superior). Naw, I'll just stick with xbox live for 5 bucks a month. MGS and ff games= Opinion, btw, I think they're crap ;) No, don't go on, you'll just make a fool of yourself.

Once again, you're completely ignoring the fact that the 360's RPG lineup is much bigger and better than the PS3's. The 360 has TONS of great RPG's. The Ps3 has FF, and.. uh... well, that's about it.

2. Save your movies and pictures to your own hdd
3.Extra Media ports including if you want to usb hard drive to transfer or back up saves( you always need more space)
4. Internet Browser ( I use this one) I know some people might argue this one but its a helpful feature if someone is on the computer
5. Free online play
6. Surprisingly no lag for a 40 player online match

WHen he said rpg's i think he meant GOOD rpg's!!! Most of that list doesn't even consist of blockbuster games. There are only a few of those games that are even worth mentioning, thats what you consider a good rpg line up??LMAO

hey Hot Potato, nice comeback. you responded to the free online play by saying it sucks. wow. thats your opinion and unless you can think of something better to say, it sucked. ur suppose to back it up with why and how, jeeze am i talking to a 10 year old here. to everyone else here dont respond with the PS3 lagging because it doesnt. dont brag about achievements because some people dont care about how many hours you wasted trying to get them. i want proof. cold hard facts, without them your just wasting your time comparing your own views.
