[QUOTE="Da_lil_PimP"][QUOTE="casharmy"]You mean like Sony's online pass? The Sony online pass is nothing like that. Um, you're wrong but okadditional fees to be able to access the entire content of their games...it's guaranteed.

Online pass locks out content for people that buy second hand.
XBL locks out content for anyone that buys a game new or used
You can try and spin it all you want but it is different.
You can expect Microsoft to take a more conservative approach so they can really start to profit in their gaming division or else this could be their last run; same with Sony. Expect not bleeding edge hardware to possibly turn profit on the front end instead of relying on backend sales and better and cheaper parts down the road.
Expect better graphics but not in the order of magnitude from Xbox to Xbox 360 for two reasons:
1. The technology in the 360 was cutting edge at the time of it's release
2. The visual fidelity jump from 480p to 720p is greater to the eye than 720p to 1080p.
With that expect games to "shoot" for 1080p at 30-60FPS instead of currently shooting for 720p at 30-60fps. DX11 effects will add some tessellation but don't expect that to be any more significant than Crysis2 on the PC using Ultra settings Vs Extreme (visible and definitive but not mind blowing).
Expect a more casual focus to take some of the userbase from Ninty.
Expect them to milk live services with fees and DLC since it is already a bread winner for MS.
I know it doesn't sound pretty but all indications are looking like this will be likely.
