PS3... I used my Xbox 360 as sparingly as possible for exclusives since I'm on my third one. I only use it for Left 4 Dead at the moment, but that's only when a bunch of friends want to play it. The PS3 just feels overall safer to play multiplatform games... or just gaming in general.quicksilverXP24Man, i went through 1 360 myself, sold it to my boss, and went out and bought an elite. My nephew now has my elite, because his TV has hdmi, i have his third 360. once due to dvd drive failure, the last to RROD. I don't play it any less because of RROD. I actually play it more. MS screwed up with the 360. we can all admit that. but why baby it if it's replaced for free? are you going to baby it make it last longer, and then the warrenty runs out. Hell no, not me. I will send it in every week if I have to, as long as it's still under warrenty. Let MS eat the cost. Keep going untill you get one that works. Your not only hurting yourself in the long run, but your giving MS a by on the one thing we shouldn't. Don't get me wrong, I love my 360 more then my PS3, but I will not let this go untill, I get one that I know is going to last. Untill then, watch out MS, You will be getting all my consoles the minute they go out!
[QUOTE="PS_John"][QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]I noticed the screen tearing straight away, it happened quite a lot when you run and look around etc I doubt I'm the only one who noticed it Theres definitely screen tearing, not as bad as dead rising. Might be something to do with the game engine Capcom uses. Just played the demo again and when you are looking for it, it is really noticeable, might be a decider for PS3, will wait for the demo on PS3 before I make my mind up.I didn't notice any screen tearing, and I'm one picker motha when it comes to screen tearing. :| It wasn't anywhere near the level of screen tearing in Uncharted, because I definitely noticed it in that game.
Oh wait, PS_John? Ah, nevermind.:P

PS3. A good friend of mine has a PS3 but no 360 and we're planning on doing some co-op. Can't wait!JTH_22same story with me
ps3 cause i know those japs love ps3 more and will make that version better. comes on a bluray dics which makes it feel new clean futuristic instead of a dvd9 which is ancient tech feels old dirty.im sorry no offense. yep cant wait to get me some trophies. both versions look the same and i want my re5 copy to be perfectsilverammowtf? you want to play the game or stare at the disk?
i think i would get it for xbox 360. just the fact that u get achievements...but now that i think about it ps3 also has trophy's. i think get it for xbox 360. iam2greenboxxy cancer get out of my /sw/ sage for great justice
PS3 for a few reasons, mainly the controller. The demo didn't quite feel right on the 360 pad, I know it'll be better with the Dual Shock. I played RE4 on the PS2, so it's natural to play RE5 on the PS3.Floppy_JimI'm glad I wasn't alone. Maybe it's just the controls but it felt so clunky... last time I played Resi. 4 was on Wii... Maybe I need to brush of my RE4 PS2 copy.

I'm getting it for the 360 due to the achievements and so I can play with my friends and ppl I know on XBL.
I wasn't planning on getting this game, but after playing the demo I changed my mind.

this is the one thing I will give the wii, Resident evil 4 was fun on it! But I think I would prefer the GC or ps3 controller for it in the end tho it would be fun to play with the wii mote every now and again
I gonna RENT it for the PS Triple. I hate the way they turned the series ( Resident Evil: Code Veronica FTW Dreamcast version ), but co-op sounds like fun and I have a partner in crime

yep I would for the controls of the ps3 also. It started with sony so I guess I will get it for ps3. 360 demo was a tad odd but other posters' point on online community is understandable. Just not yet a factor for me.
360.. I liked the 360 gamepad more Im an achievement whore I play all my multiplats on my 360 My COOP buddies will mostly be on 360jg4xchamp
agreed exactly! i also hardly know people who are buying the game on ps3 but i know a lot on 360 that will! so 360 is my system of choice for re5!
I'll be picking a PS3 up this year, but I still plan to get RE5 on the 360. I've never liked the position of the analog sticks on Sony's controllers, and so it would be too much of a source of added frustration.subrosianSub are you getting SF4? if so for which console? Be sure to tell us your psn when you get a ps3 I want to battle you in any game you get ...:P
I was playing the 360 demo no to long ago. What are you talking about? Whatever it is, who is to say the PS3 demo won't have the same problem?[QUOTE="NocturnalNoctis"][QUOTE="PS_John"]The screen tearing seems quite bad on the 360 demo so I might end up getting it for the PS3PS_John
"An issue with the Xbox 360 version is the screen tearing. It rears its ugly head quite often on the Xbox 360. I haven't seen any screen tearing on the Playstation 3"
It doesn't seem the PS3 will have screen tearing
There's an example, the screen tearing is worse in motion btw
So its another fable 2 that game had more screen tearing than ive ever seen in a game. Good post this proves the point ive been trying to make about the 360. 360= poor mans console.[QUOTE="Pdiddy105"]Well saying it will look better on 360 is a dead give away you dont own a PS3. From the comparisions they look the same, and if one is suppossed to look better, the 360 version renders more dust. What are you talking about?Xbox 360 because
A) It will most likely look and run better than the PS3 version
and
B) Thats the system all of my friends will be playing it on.
