PS2 system failure was a joke - repairs took from 2 months to 4 months. look how well the PS2 did and how much people respect it. Cows play the RROD card far too often.

Nintendo without a doubt. Gone from having one of the better libraries, with the msot powerful system and having a loyal hardcore fanbase, to having a waggle and a sports game.

well just because you like shiny things and nice visuals doesnt mean they failed. nintendo has never been about the graphics, always the gameplay - it's what has brought them this far, why mess with the formula? because YOU wanted them to? lol.

well i got dre but I had so much respect for playstation because the first 1 did so well. Why should I respect m$ if their selling rrod. The first xbox did horrible. I'm not impressed. Sony gets a pass but M$ hasn't earned the right.

And all I was saying is that were still into this to soon so we shouldnt even be deciding who has fallen because its WAY to soon to see..and yes i am a Ps3 fan but that doesnt mean I dont respect Xbox because Mass Effect is a great game.

Were you a Sony fan before and lost repsect? How can you say that Sony fans lost respect for Sony? You appearantly don't like Sony and do not have a PS3.

None of the things you listed can be considered reasons for fans to lose respect for Sony.

I love ninty, but I lost some interest for them. I was a manticore (sheep at heart) last gen and since the casual (mostly) Wii I've been a manticore wanting mostlyhardcore games. Still I don't think that Nintendo becoming causal are grounds to lose repsect for them. It sure is very dissapointing though.

Well the thing is thats just it really. Anyone that really wanted the game already has it and I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone that already has the Cube version. The only reason it has those sales is because even as an old last-gen port its one of the only 2-3 games worth getting a Wii for.

and i care why? have consoles ever been about value vs. manufacturing cost? people seem to think that 249.99 for a Wii was more reasonable than Sony's insanely high prices. So something is making people think it's worth it -- I'd hazard to guess it's the fun factor + games. Something Sony has forgotten.

i couldn't care less if the system costs 1$ to make - i'm never liquidating it to sell the parts.

Yeah, plus the failure rate for 360 is so much higher. I've personally never seen a failure rate for a product this high in my life.

PS2 failure rate is rumored to have been around the same the 360 has right now. I had 3, 2 failed - one normal, one slim. One took 2 months for repair (which is why I bought another one) and the other took over 3 months.
