What d u think of KZ2's spawn grenades? (Tactician's)

i myself hate them, they make the game so chaotic!!!! i move then i turn back an *tada* helghast pops up!! it's really stupid!!

spawn grenades adds more strategy to the game.

you see the maps in KZ2 are huge, and you should be careful of where you put this spawn points, make sure it helps your team.

I personally do not play as a tactician all that much, but when I have, the spawn grenades haven indeed helped out. Especially in say, capture and hold situations. If used right, they can give your team a tactical advantage. Personally, I find using the medic to be one of the most beneficial classes thus far. You get points for helping your team in addition to kills, ect. It is a win/win using the medic. Still have to unlock Saboteur and Scout though, and I am thinking I may end up liking Saboteur the best in the end.

ye but seriously bro... people r using it stupidly! and ye it makes most players just Run&Gun... 2 teams usually put their spawn grenades in front of each other which makes us just *respawn,kill, get killed* ... and ye even if it's used correctly, i wouldn't want players to respawn in a capturing area, cuz this makes it impossible for the other team to capture the are instead of us! it's really unbalanced if u think of it again!

Tactician is the best class in the game IMO. With a good Tactician and and a decent team you can easily win your games. I have to say every since I have started playing Tactician more I have won alot more games.

GS forums are dying. Ive been to other forums, and I dont know if anybody here knows this... but GS overall credibility was absolutely destroyed after the Kane and Lynch thing. This site was once up there with IGN in terms of prestige, but now its an afterthought.

that's what i mean bro! u respawn next 2 the bomb or capturing point... it's completely unfair for the other team! and it's impossible for them 2 capture or plant cuz people will keep respawning (pop up) forever! think of it! it's so stupid bro!

Thing is though in all the games the capture point for a Search and Destroy game is right above one factions home spawn point. Now I would agree with you if the spawn point was in a neutral area but how they designed the game that is not the case. When the capture point is right above your base it is hard as hell for the other team to get up and there and take it without a Tactician.

I am not saying it's normal but it evens the playing field when the capture point is right above the other factions Home spawn point.

I know what you mean by it being hard for the other team to win though. I have seen people do it even with the other team spawning right in front of the capture point. I think if you played in smaller games things would be alot less hectic.

I also wish there was an option to remove grenades. Or select the weapons you can play with like in Perfect Dark Zero.

I see where you're coming from. Spawn grenades should be changed so that it will be built like a defense turret and make it destructable.

i think they work well especiall on the big maps like salaum market and phyruss rise especially for search and destroy. becuase the the defending team spawns right next the the bomb planting area and if the attacking team member dies they spawn all teh way back at there base and have to spend alot of time traveling

It could easilly be patched that spawn grenades can not be thrown too close to objective points, boom problem solved, spawn point is closer but not ontop of it.

sure the spawn grenades can be a little cheap(by its self)

but if you factor in all the other badges and abilitys, it evens thing out more.

example: if you see an enemy spawn grenade, set up abunch of turrents and the flying atac things around it.

and to think that people complained about TANKS in Hardcore TDM on WaW....:lol: These sound absolutely rediculous and quite possibly the most pain in the butt item to ever have to deal with in an online shooter.

No they just need to have the engineer class to be able to disable it. But you do know the other team is spawning there so just camp it for a great frag count lol. Thats what I do. If possible just put a tad of distance between you and it while doing so. But I love the tactician class. It is the class that helps your team win if done properly.
