[QUOTE="superjim42"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="superjim42"] peter moore is part of the sports division.....he has no say on the other departments
also...some of those games are not developed internally at EA.
the only good game they have come up with on their own is dead space and i hope they continue to do this

All the games are developed internally. They are all made by internal studios owned by EA, even Dead Space. There is this fallacy that if a studio has a name, its not EA. It is EA, just like God of War is made by Sony, even if the studio behind it has a different name.
yes but games like burnout paradise is being developed by CRITERION, EA are publishing. i know they are first/second party devs but i was referring to the actual EA STUDIOS around the globe. and out of that list the only one by EA itself is dead space. developed by ea redwood studios i beleive it is.
as for god of war it was developed by internal SONY SANTA MONICA STUDIOS....see what i mean?
im just saying EA hasnt actually developed anything good itself recently. BUT dead space looks to change that
And EA Redwood Shores is going to be rebranded into its own identity. Just because they are called Criterion does not make them any different than EA Tiburon or anything. Heck, DICE's real name is EA DICE. EA just kept the names on those studios because they had consumer appeal.
In the end, EA id developing those titles. Plain and simple. They call all the shots, the employees are employed by EA, and EA is the one that makes those games, since the studios are all EA.
ok fair enough but i dont see how criterion is ea.
they were a seperate entity before ea bought them. criterion has the same devs as when it started. ea didnt suddenly change all the team and replace it with its own internal staff.
therefore it is still criterion even if its parent company is EA. and the game burnout was developed by criterion not ea. EA just have their name on it cos they own the devs.
