In terms of the more traditional dual analogue controllers then basically the Wii U GamePad with one set of analogue triggers and the ability to use up to four at once.
I don't see anything better than that even in the pipeline at this point in time.

It seems that you don't know what "loyalty" means. I suggest you to look it up on the dictionary.
It's silly that you automatically classed me as a fanboy because I like PlayStation. You are the one of those who makes this place dumber.
If you loved Xbox all the way from the beginning and still like it, that means you are loyal to it. Understand?
Do System Wars a favour and don't be so stupid. Calm down with the word of "fanboy" in your mind. If you actually go in the real world, you would realise how dumb you've been saying to me.

I don't have any loyalty to any system. I ditched sony because of the disk error (and somewhat because MS had Rare and Fable, but we saw how that turned out). I'm ditching MS because of RRoD next generation (and because most of their garbage now is Kinect). I base my purchases on the quality of products (including franchises).
You're a prime example of a fanboy. Don't lable me as such, because I'm pretty far from it.
Oh, and you can't (uh, sort of imply?) that someone is dumb with the sentence "If you actually go in the real world, you would realise how dumb you've been saying to me."
Checkmate.
Wake up and use logic. What I meant by "loyal to PlayStation" is that I didn't really like the games and services that other competitors are providing. PlayStation is pretty much the only one that is about right in my taste.
If you liked a brand, you'd stick with it for the most part, would you? I really like Samsung TVs because I think they are awesome and reliable including excellent design talent on Samsung's part, and I would buy a Samsung TV again. It's the same with PlayStation to me.
Use logic. Not System War's deluded logic.

Keep them the same.

So you don't want them to work on something to increase precision and turnspeed control?
Yes, those are fine. I just don't want gimmicks. Improvements are welcome, gimmicks aren't.
I just hope that Sony won't change the DualShock's original design.
Better sticks for the PS4 controller and better L2 and R2 and a little bigger controller is all i ask for from sony. MS just changed the D-pad to something like the ps3 one and i'm fine.TheGuardian03
Better sticks?
What's wrong with the current ones?

And that has what to do with the controller?
Nice strawman, but we're talking about the actual fact that the 360 controller is more ergonomic. Being loyal the Sony, thus preferring their controller because of that has nothing to do with logic, and is in fact your fabled System Wars logic. I call out BS on every system's flaws, that's not System Wars logic.

I don't like em, i prefer the 360 ones.Ok.
The sticks on the 360 controller didn't help me much in shooters. I'm usually crap at them on Xbox because of the sticks.
The ps3 and 360 both have pretty good controllers now but both could use some improvements the ps3 needs a major one imo. The 360 needs a better D-pad of course. Probably one that is segregated into multiple parts not just one solid piece and it would be nice if it were microswicthed that's asking for a lot though. Other than that i think the only thing the 360 controller is lacking is pressure sensitive buttons. The ps2 had it and i think the ps3 has it even though most games dont make use of it. I think if the next xbox and the next playstation have pressure sensitive buttons we will start to see some neat gameplay around that feature. A good example would be how MGS made use of it.
The DS3 though needs a major change those sticks need to have their axis realigned to be like the 360s. Its gotta happen the design has proved to be better and now even nintendo is using it. They should also change from convex sticks to concave ones. You get better grip that way. Lastly, the triggers need to go and i think everyone can agree on that they need to either bring back the DS2's l2 and r2 or try something new maybe even copy because if it aint broke dont fix it.
