What do you think is the best new IP this gen?

For me it's between Overwatch and Splatoon.

Bloodborne, but I highly doubt it becomes a franchise. Great title at any rate.

Grim Dawn is pretty fun.

If it looks like a Souls game and plays like a Souls game.....you probably made a Souls game.

Plus the same engine and a lot of the BB assets were used in Dark Souls 3.

I know Bloodborne is technically a new IP, though I have a hard time seeing it that way. That would be my pick though.

Otherwise, it's between Shovel Knight and The Witness for me. Still need to finish The Witness though.

Overwatch. I have way too many hours into that game.

Last Guardian also lived up to the hype for me.

Sea of Thieves, I have little doubt. :P

Last Guardian would be my third choice. Awesome game.

Its splatoon. For all its quality of life faults. The mechanics in that game are super strong, especially when you consider that Nintendo had almost no experience in that genre.

I still need to buy a copy of overwatch. But those two are definitely top tier.

who'd of thought heavily multiplayer focused games with either no or a afterthought campaign are two of the best new IP's.

Remember when this gen started an people were all over this game called titanfall for doing that?

My pick is between Bloodborne and Last Guardian.

I wasn't around SW at that time, but that surely doesn't mean living in a cave I hope. What I read on media sites talked much more about those crappy games instead of Splatoon.

As far as new I.P's go The Division has certainly captured more of my time than any other.
