I say ps Move, just because you get alot more, and Natal is rumored to cost 149.99 while the ps move bundle will cost less then 100. Also it will be impossible to make FPS like COD to use Natal.

I would say that its best to wait till E3 to see what games are available, what is the official price point, what are the full features and what the company stance is behind their peripherals..Hah, did you do that on purpose? Sony + make believe. If Natal is bundled with a new 360 slim then this will outsell Sony Move I believe.

Tough to say at this point without a price value for Natal or having seen it in action, but my instinct is to say Natal based on the fact that A) it's something that's never been done before and B) the Xbox 360 is a highly active brand in the market and I think MS will invest the money necessary to make it relatively successful. In general though, I don't think I will personally enjoy it as much as the Move.
I think Natal will sell more, but I don't think it'll see the returns that MS is probably hoping for.
Natal will sell probably sell more due to a more sensible marketing approach/image from MS. They seem to be going all-out casual and promoting an image that will attract families. It is a good strategy for trying to expand the userbase.
Although the hardware seems solid, Sony's approach to marketing Move is idiotic IMO. Sure, they did a bit of casual marketing stuff, but so much of their marketing energy seems to be centered around trying to convince people that motion control is hardcore. The people they are trying to convince by and large all ready have their minds made up. Hardcore gamers like CONTROLLERS. Also, the "poke fun" campaign seems like it was concieved with Sony fanboys in mind, which is weird. All in all, their approach feels short-sighted.
PS Move. Natal is going to completely fail.djsifer01
I'll be there to laugh at you since it WILL be the other way around.....
these threads need to be locked. use your brain people Move is only for 1 person, Natal is for a family, lets do the math
I think Natal will sell alot more on Pc than 360 as a media platform and recognition software which it is more suited too than gaming media at the current technological cycle involved in games (Simply put having no buttons will limit its implimination greater than most people on these forums will admit or like to hear).
As for the Move....I have a Wii. I don't need it! I'm infinantly more excited about 3D gaming on the platform as gaming is the medium It could be put to best use on.

Can't Move support two people?
depends, with move you have to buy a subcontroller to play sum games that need both hands but you would need to buy 2 or you would be sharing 1 controller

As much as I agree natal will sell more....this is a flawed argument simply put 'As a gamer I love buying things other people will like but I won't enjoy it's a brilliant thing to spend £150 on'. (Also on a personal note hospitals will not love this, Hospitalslike too keep people in there beds/rooms as it's easier to keep track of patients.)

not where the kids are, it would be easy getting kids to cheer them up. lots of hospitals have videogames, for the kids sectionsI'll be buying Move over Natal and maybe eventually Natal but I think Natal will sell more in the long run. It's going to be more appealing to the casual audience do to the lack of controllers and the movement of your body and knowing microsoft it will probably have a way better marketing campaign. It'll overshadow PS move and probably outsell it by quite a bit due to the popularity of it. It's even been on a few TV shows like smallville and there is talk about it all over the news and radio.
PS Move will sell but not quite as good as Natal. PS move will probably be a hell of a lot more fun though in my opinion.
I thought I read somewhere that natal wasn't just for the 360, but MS was going to start making windows software for it also...
It's pretty cool you'd no longer need to hunt for a keyboard mouse or controller, or it can log you in by facial expression. If that's the case than natal will easily sell tons more than move.
I think this is very hard to answer at this point in the game. We are unaware of pricing, bundling, software, hands on impressions of near retail versions...all of these will affect how each one will sell.
That being said I think that, if I guessed right now, I would say Move. It's more similar to the Wiimote and Nunchuk which has already proven to be succssesful.
Natal. its something new
The move is pretty much a high tech wii mote.
Then Natal is a high tech Eye-Toy.I can't predict that before E3, I need to watch the final stage presentations for both Move and Natal before I can pass judgement on this matter, too many factors to consider. Most importantly developer support and affordability.AgentA-Mi6
Its really to soon to see. But i don't see anyone playing Halo, or COD, or Battlefield with motion controllers anytime soon.
Big thing is going to be the price.
We only have 8 days so we will just have to see.
Unless natal is way overpriced i would expect millions of units sold.
Move i have my doubts. Unless they cut the price of the ps3. I just don't see sony being able to sell a 299.99 system with probley another 100 bucks on top to the causual crowd.
Natal will definitely sell more but on which one's going to be better we can only guess. I'm putting my money on Natal.
[QUOTE="Lionheart08"]All we know the starter pack, controller, game, and a camera is less than $100. Don't know the exact price. I will, more than likely, NOT be purchasing it for my PS3. Unless they port SMG2What's the price of Move?
Chutebox
I imaging Microsoft will throw considerable marketing dollars behind the launch of Natal. There are stores here already advertising it's features.
So based on that Natal will sell more.
Based on rumored price though, Move may have a better selling point in terms of price.
I expect the Wii will drop it's price to something along the lines of US $149.99 around the time of the launch of both of these peripherals, which will make it considerably more difficult to sell either.
I think Natal, simply because there are a lot more 360s out in the market right now. It also depends on which one hits the market first.
i say they'll both flop because they're entering the console's life so deep that i really can't see this panning out (alot of acessories or late on ones never do), but the idea of them probably means itll be packaged in the beginning on the next gen consoles (or whatever they plan to dish out)Microsoft1234possible experiments for next gen?
