Wii sports had a cool boxing game it was limited you could just flick the controller and even in the Kevin Butler ad sony was trying to convince people that the PS3 move was more response but it will be the same.

Natal on the other hand scan's your whole body so ever punch and kick will be replicated, I'm just wishful thinking here but if capcom could make a street fighter game where you face the character head on and make it work would be awesome.

I think most people will be more interested in Natal just because it requires no controls and especially if it runs as smooth as in the demos.

[QUOTE="djsifer01"]PS Move. Natal is going to completely fail.GreySeal9

Do you have any particular reason for saying this?

the other thing they have been capable of showing in real life (as in at a conference and not ads) is a woman hitting a big red ball....

I think they'll both flop hard, but be refined and included in the next gen, four years down the line. Add-ons always have a hard time. People don't want the accessory unless there are good games, but companies won't invest heavily in making quality games unless there's a sufficient user base to buy the product. Bundles are a good start, but this late in the generation, the markets are pretty well saturated.

How so? The rumored price is pretty high, unless a $300 Natal bundle is true. But even then, you can't play normal games with Natal. The lack of buttons is fatal. And if you're using a normal controller, what's the point of Natal? Any voice commands could be done with a headset, like has been done before. During intense gameplay, you're not going to want to take a hand of the controller to make signals to the camera. It'll be fine for Wii Sports, Tiger Woods and Mario Party clones, but not much else.

dedicated customers..... xbox live..... rumored bundle... no need to buy extra controllers.... in the end to get started with move it will cost about 150 anyway.

There have been games that have voice recognition tech. Albeit, its always a programmed list, but that's no different than Natal. It'll just have a bigger list. There was a PS2 game that you controller entirely with the headset. You gave voice commands to some chick on a space station as she ran around it. And there was another one this gen... HAWX?

To the voice function, yes. And I can't see any serious application for the one functions, other than Wii Sports and shovelware.

ms and sony have clearly stated shovelware will not be a problem.... natal is nothing like wii.... it senses your skeletal outline for god sake..... nothing but a natal or natal like item can do that....(gaming wise) ? its like your sayying we should take the natal away for natal and a headset?

Natal will appeal more to casuals, which is a big chunk of the market. When casuals look at Move, they are just going to say it's just a Wii ripoff. I can already do that with my Wii. I still have to play with a wand and a nunchuck. Natal is hands free, casuals will like that.

Of course the main driving factor will be game support. Are there fun games to play?

Can you think of anything Natal could do to add to a game? Other than Wii Sports kinds of game.
