What does PS3 and 360 represent for you.

For me the 360 represents a younger generation of kids who forced their parents to buy them one because PS3 was priced too high. The PS3 represents an older more mature gamer niche. and its the system for people who want an entertainment system as well as a console. But these are just my opinions. What do they represent for you?

360- social multiplayer gaming

I was gonna post some thing witty about how the 360 equal true values and good government and the Ps3 represents every thing bad such as obama, and communism...etc but I'll just give up and say...they represent 2 video game systems...

They represent everything I hate about console gaming at the moment. Last generation I loved console gaming, though I still played on the PC more. Last gen there was not a single console that I did not love. Now, there really isn't one I like. I hate how they are trying to do too much. What I is, they just feel like a gimped PC that you can not upgrade. They now do all of these services, which some like, but I hate. I hate how they do installs now, I hate how they are now trying to integrate M/KB with that penguin thing.

I know it sounds weird that a Hermit would hate all of these new features, but I do. I loved it when consoles were gaming machines. Now it feels as if they are multimedia devices first, gaming machines second.

PS3: Black box

360: White box

PS3 represents my system of choice.

360 represents a system I owned and sold, and not yet regretted.

Same for Wii. You didn't ask, but there it is.

The PS3 is Alpha and the X360's the Omega. Where the X360 represents the axis of evil in the Yin Yang that is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn.

That's what the X360 and PS3 represents to me.

those systems used to both impress me but the more I get into pc gaming the more I think they are systems that need to be considered last gen already.

Ps3 = Better exclusives, better console

Xbox 360 = Amazing couch co op games better for when playing with the wife.
