I second this seriously this battle was won a long time ago Better competition? The PSP is a gift form heaven as far as competition against Nintendo in handhelds go. Because the PSP is here, Nintendo didn't see lazily this gen for handhelds. Apple is there but the iPhone sucks as a gaming platform.

EDIT not to say that Nintendo being lazy about it is good though
a built in large hdd or lots of flash memory and no stupid disk to carry around. They should do what mp3 player do, you plug the into you computer dump all the games you want on them and go and play.

It's also close to surpass the GBA. Well ok it's about 10 millions away it's not really close but it's realistic to say that it'll surpass it. The PSP is just about the best competition to Nintendo in handhelds and has finally put an end to Nintendo's monopole. Now there's fierce competition on that ground and only great games will come out of it. So in the end, WE are the winners.
