[QUOTE="Overthrow"]Yes, but that's besides the point. The point is that it's not exclusive if it's on another system.

im talking overall gaming. ofcourse more people have PCs. but i dont think 90% are gamers or anything. thats my point. console market has generally been atleast to my understanding the bigger gaming market for the last couple of gens. and i dont hate the pc or anything. and i never said that its not exaclty a negative of the 360s that some of its games are on PC. but Halo and Fable come way, way, way to late to PC to really make a difference. I dont see how Cows, Hermits, Sheep can honestly claim ownage that the PC will get Halo 3 in 2010. And so far PC gamers arent enjoying PGR3, Forza 2, Dead Rising, Saints Row, Gears, etc on PC yet. Theres alot of games on 360 that wont be on PS3, Wii, and yes even the PC. and for the ones that do alot of them come out years later. with the exception of Micrsoft PC/360 games like Alan Wake, etc. For anyone to blindly say the 360 has no good franchises and is has a limited library is living in a dream world. Because the 360 has its own library of great gaems that includes exclusives that are allready out and are also coing in the near future.jg4xchamp
No, it really seems plainly obvious lemmings are living in a dream world. Apparantly the kind of world, that games on more the one system count as though they arent on more than one system.
FEAR came out to the 360 over a year later and to the PS3 it came out about 1.5 years later. Is it a PC exclusive?
I dont really understand how lemmings have such a difficulty grasping the concept that its the same game on anotehr platform, and that it could be played without having to buy 360. How is that, by any means whatsoever, exclusive? Its not. Every system has exclusives, so you'll need every system to be able to play every game out there. Thats nothing new. Yes, the 360 has some good franchises - but it has a much smaller list of exclusive franchise. The kinds of franchises that can only be played on a single, platform. The kind Sony and Nintendo have many more of that arentshared on the PC.

If all you're basing it on is who gets the money, then yeah. MS will still see a share of the money Nintendo and Sony makes. If you're basing it on what makes more sense, like, "What games can only be played on what platforms" then it fits perfectly in the context of System Wars.
I think this generation should have no exclusives any way not everyone can afford a super powered pc thats why its called console wars not pc console wars.

no it's system wars pc is included in that, but I think it should be console wars, cuz thats what everyone is thinking about
Most of the games that i want in this gen are multiplat so i win. But the 360 does have alot of good exlusives that i want too.
OK A 3 years is alot. to really not be considered ownage.
B the 360 has more than Halo and Fabel so why are we arguing this. Correct me if im wrong but Gears, Project Gothem, FOrza, Kameo, PDZ, Dead Rising, Saints Row, etc are still exclusives. Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonota, Too Human, Halo Wars, PGR 4, Huxley, Gears 2, Banjo 3, and a bunch others havent been named to be on PC, PS3, or WIi yet either. SO there happy. I just dont see how Halo 3 and Fable 2 releasing on PC in 2009 or 2010 is ownage for Cows that they can play them on PC. 3 years later.Thats all. And i have allready said that. the 360 has the fewest franchises because majority of the 360 library is a bunch of new ips. That still need to prove themselves. and i guarantee we will hear more. Nintendo has 20 year old franchises that have stood the test of time, and Sony has only gotten better with age so far at making games. MS is a rookie with the consoles and has really shown the most improvement this gen.
Ill level with u right now that when it comes to exclusives franchises its Nintendo>Sony>Microsoft(in terms of 1st/2nd party)
But MS has been doing alot so far to change that scenario. jg4xchamp
While some games you listed are questionable, im not denying that the 360 has some good exclusive franchises. Every system has that. Theres something on every platform worth owning and playing.
And you're right. I dont see how Fable 2 or Halo 3 on the PC a year+ later is ownage for Cows - its not like they are playing it for their system. But it sure isnt ownage for lemmings either because its not an exclusive title anymore. Im a PC gamer, and theres a very, very good chance i'll be able to play, and enjoy those games without a 360. Wheres the "ownage" in that for lemmings?
Why complicate things?
Exclusive: A game that cannot be played on another platform.
Multiplat: (not the word plat; short for platform, not Multiconsole) A game that can be played on more than one platform.

I think i agreed with that. but whatever. agreed. and my point is yes MS has the fewest exclusives. but they have took many steps to improve that. and for the most part they are getting a lot better each year with the 360the question is what good franchises. and Fable 2 and Halo 3 wont show up on PC for a long, long, long time. SO they are for the most part exclusives. and the fact is u cant play them on PS3 or Wii. so it is a selling point for the 360.[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="gmastersexay"]Halo and Fable are not exclusive. I can buy and play them on the PC thus eliminating the need for a Xbox or Xbox 360.XaosII
And how is the fact that you can play them without a 360 makes it a "selling point" for the 360?
Because most people don't have high end PCs.Very few game franchises are exclusive strictly speaking. Many 360 games are on PC, Final Fantasy is on DS now and started on Nintendo. MGS games were on Xbox and Gamecube. RE is crossing the exclusive line. DMC bailed out The only exclusive franchise I can think of off the top of my head is God of War and......... Mario...... Zelda.... thats all.
I have a hard time thinking of any MS franchises that arn't shared with PC. But I will say this. Kingdom Under Fire is a kick ass franchise. Phantagram knows what they are at.

Just because you get one game or one game from a serise dosen't mean you an exclusive franchise. It bites but this thread shows how weak your presious xbox360 exclusive franchises really are lemmings. And I mean some of the franchises you have listed there are exclusive but the TC specifically asked for "GOOD" ones...and you listed Fable.
Ninja Gaiden...Could have sworn Team Ninja recntlyfinished a game called Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and it's only for PS3
Dead Rising...heard pt 2 well be multiplatform PS3/xbox360
Ace combat...:| one game...the first 5 were on PS2.
Lost Planet...is this even a franchise?
Lemmings...one game dosen't make a franchise and if a sequal isn't announced and only for your system then IT'S NOT EXCLUSIVE. After we get that out of the way, then we can access whether the game is actually even good or not.

What exclusive serious does the PS have that doesn't have the Final and Fantasy ? Never mind you can't claim this one either.
Metal Gear Solid ? Nope
Devil May ? Nope
So that leaves with what GT , and that plays second fiddle to Forza.
So help me out here.
