[QUOTE="noodlevixen"]Game of Thrones: Genesis. Which looks ridiculous, btw.Game of Thrones.

People seem to forget that series is hella old.
I got a board game of it. :o
mc donald franchise could make a platfomer gamehippiesantaThere was already a game based on McDonald's that was released in the 1990s. And yes, it was a platformer in the likeness of Super Mario World.
Supernatural would be cool. You'd have to use clues and find stuff to find out what kind of monster you're fighting and stuff. Of course, it would have to be done right.

This was the first thing I thought of, and this thread shows that I'm not alone.
But it would have to be done perfectly.!
ASOIAF is a heck of a novel series, but I don't see the freewheeling character focus and the emphasis on storytelling translate into a game. A movie, yes but they are already releasing it on TV aren't they.
Personally, I cannot wait for A dance of dragons.
TJ Hooker. Open world crime fighting, William Shatner style.tomarlyn
This made me think of something:
Either of these in an open-world game = all of my money
[QUOTE="Cheesehead9099"]Well first of all I want a GOOD big budget Pirates of the Caribbean game because that franchise has a lot of potential (get original voice actors, proven studio, open world setting where you sail with your crew, ability to hire crewmates and upgrade your ship, realistic pirate atmosphere, etc).Cherokee_Jack
They had their chance, bro.
D: I never knew about this! THAT LOOKED SO PROMISING! :cry:I'd like that :)Supernatural would be cool. You'd have to use clues and find stuff to find out what kind of monster you're fighting and stuff. Of course, it would have to be done right.

But there was also McKids (NES), McDonald Land (C64), and McDonalds Monogatari (Gameboy Color).
They were making one on the PS2 and I was hyped for it but that game never happened.I always thought cowboy bebop would make an awesome open world game.
Animal-Mother
Here is what it was going to look like. Although I don't think it is Open-World it was an Action/Adventure.

TJ Hooker. Open world crime fighting, William Shatner style.tomarlynThat would be nice. I was thinking of a Soap Opera game like Guiding Light or As the World Turns or something. They could release the DLC weekly. This could be big people.
[QUOTE="MachoTacoNacho"]
[QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]They already made that game.
AmazonTreeBoa
lol no
lol yeslol wtf is that supposed to be? some simulator game? I want a game actually based off the PROPERTY. With "Viva Pinata" in the title and everything. Not some random simulator game that you argue was somehow based off of Viva Pinata.
[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]^This. Dear God, this. Supernatural would make an awesome game.Supernatural would be cool. You'd have to use clues and find stuff to find out what kind of monster you're fighting and stuff. Of course, it would have to be done right.
DarkLink77
It would of course have to be done right, otherwise it could suck. And it wouldn't have to follow the main storyline; I always thought it would be really cool to hear other Hunters' stories, so this game could do it. Like, there are monsters everywhere who are revealing strange info about something and you eventually play as Sam and Dean to confront whatever it is.
Oprah Winfrey: The Game. It's all dialogue trees for the entire game, with the facial motion-capture tech that Rockstar has. Or Ellen. One of those, it has to be done.enterawesomeholy no.... but perhaps soccermoms will get the benefit in gaming
