What fanboy branch was owned the hardest this week

This week, seems to be the week of major ownage for the 3 gaming companies, microsoft, nintendo, and sony. Which gaming branch do you think got owned the hardest? I will give you guys this weeks recap.

Xbox 360

-Some analysists state that xbxo 360 defective rate is as high as 33%, fox news even states that 2.5 million consoles were defective

-Microsofts biggest exclusive is annoucned on the pc with extra content: Gears of war

-Halo 3's graphics were downgraded.

Playstation 3

-Virtua Fighter 5 is announced to have online on xbox 360, while ps3 will not have online

Wii

-Metroid Prime 3 announced not to have online

-Super Smash Brothers Brawl will not be playable at e3.

BTW, xbox 360 got owned more. That's a high failure rate.

But thats PS3 to 360. PC and Xbox are basicly the same thing. MS does what it wants with both of them. I can bet you Gears will be Vista only to have the WindowsLive functions. It all controlled by MS *rolls eyes* Honestly I saw this coming a mile away and I'm not uptight about it. This is not going to hurt the 360 versions sales at all. Gears already made its money. Thsi is just to make a little extra and the side.

Check my sig. I really believe that at least one of the WII's big 3 may go AAAA. I would be seriously disappointed if MP3 didnt get it because of 'clunky online' play. Whatever it gets reveiwed, I am sure no honest reviwer will take off points for lack of online.

Doesnt you computer run on Windows XP,Vista,Ect.????. Both are basically made to operateby MS, whether you want to or not, unless youown the lonely Apple or use Linux, which have no games and dont compare...lol. How is that bad ? everyone everywhere will play it when its released....

360 takes this one by a landslide.

There's no reason to pay $400 + $60 per game if you can get an improved thing a bit later (or the same time, most of the time actually) for $20-$40. Perhaps you don't want to wait, but teh exclusives are being bragged about for a reason, right?

Plus the 3 year warranty pretty much confirms the ~30% fail rate. The PM saying it would take weeks for fixes now is no big help. I definitely do not want to wait a month for my console to arrive.

PlayStation 3 ownage - meh.

you guys seriously can't beleive epic would release more content on the PC version and not release it as DLC on the 360, imagine the money they would make

edit: gears hasnt been announced for PC yet, for all we know that could be the new dlc for 360 it could be a ps3 version lol but serious its like mgs4 all over again ' its been anounced on 360' ' that vid has no sony logo', i admit the video looks legit but you can't be sure, gears was developed on the pc

Personally, I'm done with Gears. This exact same thing happened with Halo and Halo 2 and it didn't bother me then, why would it bother me now?

The failure rate thing is pretty bad, but I think the news of the extended warranty makes up for it.

The Wii stuff isn't really ownage... But I think VF5 coming to 360 with online play counts as some fairly serious ownage. And that Sony President dude saying they're not going to have a price drop is pretty bad too. So it's between 360 and PS3... Personally, I'd feel worse if I was a PS3 fan right now.

Are you trying to deny Gears of Wars multiplatform-ness? :| Do you also think Bioshock, Huxley, Lost Planet and all the other 360/PC games are still 360 exclusives? :| Because there's no such thing as a Microsoft exclusive. If I can play the game on more than 1 platform, it's multiplatform.

The failure rates for the 360 suck but MS doing a 3 year warranty extension on every 360 ever made completely makes up for it.

Gears to the PC is a COMPLETE non event, everyone knew it was going to happen and has ZERO effect on the 360. If anything 360 gamers will have a larger multi player base if they allow pc\console multi player games through live.

All Football games only running at 30 FPS on the PS3 while the 360 gets 60FPS on EVERY Football game.

No Damage Modeling for GT5, some racing simulator, it's actually a bumper car simulator.

Supposed price drop was only a week long sale at Target.

Sony owners must be getting tired of getting slapped around each week.

Guess you didnt read the article about the warrenty extensions. Its only for 360s that had the red rings of death. If your disk drive goes dead after a year, you still have to pay.

Can someone quite simply explain why Gears going to the PC negatively impacts the 360 in any way, shape or form? Anybody? Anybody at all? Because nobody has, in any of the million threads on this subject. I'm still waiting for anybody to give a single logical reason as to how the 360 got "owned" by porting a good game to the PC a year later.

And it probably would've been more "ownage" to bring up the 30% failure rate before Microsoft came out and extended all warranties by three years and offered free repairs for all consoles. You know, it might've had a bigger impact before that announcement.
