Definitely Journey

Zelda SS (yes I didn't play it last year), it's pretty awesome but not the best Zelda. I would give it an 8.5
Journey, a nice good game but I think the cows overratted it, still definately worth playing through multiple times. Very nice. I gave it an 8.

ummm... uhhhh.... I've got nothing so far... E3 better come up with some release dates for games I want or else this will be a very dead year in gaming for me. This year's dryness is especially noticeable given last year's level of quality
Well I only played a few games from this year.
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Xenoblade Chronicles
Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword
I would have to say Xenoblade Chronicles.
A few have impressed me
Diablo 3- CGI in it is just jaw dropping, well worth the almost decade wait.
ME3- wish it ended happily, but hey the gameplay is vastly improved over the first two which had awesome gameplay.
Kid Icarus Uprising- the best HH game I've ever played.
Starhawk- outside of voice skipping and no cover (an actual one) mechanic the game is highly underrated.
I never though i could having more fun time, rockstar did bring great. hope gonna get more attention on the top list 2012.
Tales of Graces f. No contest.
We need more original games like it.
It's probably my personal game of the year.
It's a shame that it won't get the recognition and appreciation it deserves from the general gaming community and critics.

Its the worst tales games ive played. I dont like the characters at all and I hate theme.
Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown... oh wait, that's not out yet... In that case, it'd be either Skullgirls or Journey. Both are amazing games.
[QUOTE="Raymundo_Manuel"]I know, right? Game's killer.I don't think I've played a single 2012 game.
I did just recently play Vanquish on my PS3 though, and that was way more awesome than I thought it'd be.

I told my friends to get it, but they don't believe me!

lol I hate when they do that. I remember telling a friend how great The Witcher 2 was last year and he finally bought the EE and won't shut up about it :PWow, the only 2012 game I've bought so far has been Uncharted: Golden Abyss, so that. I did buy Resistance 3 this year and it was surprisely awesome!

I remember telling a friend how great The Witcher 2 was last year and he finally bought the EE and won't shut up about it :PWell what's funny is in many instances my friends have told me I understand their tastes better than they do as I've led some of them to finding their "favorite game ever" even when it comes to games I have not played :P
And yet still they never seem to trust me when I recommend games to them.
I haven't played many 2012 games, though I do plan on getting Max Payne 3 once the PC version is out and playing Diablo when I start to finish up some other games.
So far Mass Effect 3 impressed me, mainly in how insane a fanbase can be, but also because I'm still shocked they could take decisions you made across two games and implement everyone in at least some tiny way (though most were pretty big).
Max Payne 3 just impresses me because of the insane tech on display, the beautiful combat is like a Hong Kong action film, but unlike Hardboiled or an equivalent the violence is shocking and realistic. Its weird seeing an enemy AI in the game display so much life as he moves in mouth in soft whispers while bleeding out and trying to steady himself after being shot 29 times by Max.
Its really good tech and really makes violence unsettling for once and shows off a human protagonist instead of making enemies these faceless foes to die in between quips from some psycopathic treasue hunter that wears gap clothing and heals his wounds Wolverine style.
