As the title points out, What game in your opinion had the best dialogue EVER!?

To start off, let me just say Super Paper Mario TYD

Gabriel Knight Sins of Fathers and Gabriel Knight2 The Beast Within.

Banter between Gabriel and Grace = priceless.

Psychonauts has some of the funniest/best dialogues ever.

I agree with that, Max Payne has kick a** dialogue.

Psyconuts, I mean Psyconauts

StarControl2 had some great dialogue.

Psychonauts and Giants Citizen Kabuto were excellent as well.

and who can forget Sam and Max, Quest for Glory's Erasmus and Fenris, and Leisure Suit Larry.

Ah yes. the best dialog was in most of the older pc games.

im torn between deus ex 1 and vampire the masquarade bloodlines.

probably vamp. the game had an excellent script and brilliant actors. too bad the game was released in a broken state :(. i must try the unnoffical patch at some stage.

KOTOR 1 and 2 also had an excellent script, as did BG&E.

edit: oh yeah....and anachranox......and giants....ah crap there are loads :S.

The Film Noire esque dialogue was cheesy, slightly cliche but great at the same time.
