What games are on your backlog?

I’ve been wanting to beat The Witcher 3 for a while now. It keeps getting pushed back. I also want to finish Fire Emblem Fates. Those games are like 2 years old now lol. Other games I want to finish are Horizon Zero Dawn and Nioh, and there’s more of course. What about you?

I'm planning to finally start playing Starhawk soon. Maybe later tonight.

I have about 800 games backlogged. I've been buying games faster then I can complete them for the past 10 years.

I also have 2000 blu rays and dvd's.

I've been waiting for the digital apocalypse.

With net neutrality being killed and all the bs with loot boxes I may just go retro only and cancel my internet. My pc is nothing but a youtube box anyways.

In my Steam library, I have over 100 backlog of games from Sales, I have so many games, I've haven't even played from last year's Christmas, it's pitiful! I could probably knock more out of my library of games if I would just leave games like Killer Instinct, Borderlands 2, and Overwatch alone, but I'm always firing those games up right away :(

I'm only backlogged in two games and that is the Tale Tell Guardians game and a game called the Turing Test.

And these are the games in my collection that I actually want to play... not including a whole bunch of other games that I decided I'll never get to.

I've gotten much better about my purchases lately... promise...

@SolidGame_basic: Here's a thought, maybe you should spend less time talking about games (you make a shit load of threads on here) and you know actually play them, break the cow mould and play games, who knows you might actually like them :)

I have over a 100 games in my backlog.

I am getting older and lose interest in gaming pretty quickly. Considering selling off most of them, but everyone in my city is so damn cheap.

Can’t even get rid of newer games for $10. And if I drop it down to $5, then I might as well just go to a damn pawn shop and save myself time/effort.

None. I currently got into GOG and I absolutely love it over Steam. I picked up the Witcher 3 & Cuphead. I'm playing between these two at the moment. I don't plan on buying any games until I beat one or the other; most likely Cuphead...lol. On Steam, I'm using this now as an online platform to play multiplayer games with my friends. I tend to hop on PUBG, Deceit, & Rainbow Six: Siege.

I only wish more big games would come out on GOG because I do look forward to Ni No Kuni 2, Dragonball Z, Far Cry 5, & Kingdom Come next year.

Having an overabundance of games is a foreign concept to lems :p

I normally get immersed easier if I don't see my character onscreen. Hence, my preoccupation with first-person perspective games.

My lack of immersion with third-person perspective games is just a phase though. One day, something will go click and suddenly, I enjoy such games again.

Well at the time of writing my post you had 7 threads on the first page, it's not surprising you have a backlog with having to check them all the time to read the new posts lol.

I don't see some genres working in first person, like platformers. or racing games that I enjoy more in third person (weirdly enough).

Otherwise, like you said, first person can be way more immersive. And it's why I loved first person games since ever they came around: Duke nukem 3d, wolfenstein, half life ...

I think Half Life is probably the most immersive game I've ever played.

it never shifts from the first person perspective, making you feel truly like you are there.

STALKER: Call of Pripyat and its mods are the most immersive first-person games I have for the moment. They edge out the Reset Outpost mode of Far Cry 3 and 4 after some cosmetic changes. ;)

I gave up on the backlog. It's just impossible. I'd have to win the lotto, quit my job, start gaming full time, and I probably still wouldn't catch up any time soon.

Aside from the sheer volume of good games coming out, I also sink a lot of time into multiplayer games and replaying games that I really enjoy.

Trying to maintain a checklist of games just made gaming a bit of a bummer for me. So instead I just play what I want when I want and quit giving a shit about what I might miss. There's the occasional game here and there that I consider a must play, but I just have to let the rest go.
