Oh God. My poor backlog.
I am in the process of trying to manage my backlog and all. Guess I can throw that out the window.
Once I finish Fallout: New Vegas, I'll buy Far Cry 5. Knowing my gaming habits....... I'll be playing the latter for the rest of the year.
When I bought Far Cry 3, I hardly played any other game for almost a year. When I bought Far Cry 4, the same thing.
3 definite are red dead 2 and crash and at some point Vampyr which has interested me. One maybe is far cry 5 but much later when I need a long open world game during the winter months.
Learning Dhalsim in SFV, prob continue till the end of the year on and off, or at least until burnt out, not in any rush to buy new games. But Mario Tennis looks very appealing.
I'm thinking to buy Assassin Creed Odyssey, and Cyberpunk 2077 . I signed up on Anthem and Tom Clancy's Division 2 beta which will be cool. I also am planning to sign up BGAE 2 for beta next year.
RDR2
Spiderman
Dreams
Maybe Fallout 76: I'm really digging Fallout 4, but will need to read reviews and user impressions of 76 before making a final decision.
Fallout 76 is an online spinoff. I'd skip it if you're mostly into single-player Fallout.
Create your character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system and forge your own path in a new and untamed wasteland with hundreds of locations. Whether you journey alone or with friends, a new and unique Fallout adventure awaits.
Always try to go the oddball characters (Fang former main). They are usually the most rewarding. That And 90% of the population play Ryu/Ken or edgy Ryu (Akuma), someone's got to create abit of diversity.

PC:
im humming and hawing over a PS4. if i was to get one i would get:
im sure there will also be other bits and bobs as the year goes on but no shortage of games to play anyway.
I'll just impulsively buy stuff that looks interesting as games come out and those that are already released go on sale, and then proceed to only play a few hours of most of them
My living situation has drastically changed and I can’t really game any time soon.
I will have to delay any purchases until 2019 I guess.
I would like to get:
Sonic Mania Plus
RDR2
Spider-Man
Shenmue 1&2
Neir Automata
Wolfenstein 2
And some older games like DOOM.
I think ID software is insanely overrated but I would like to play DOOM once it is $10. I just want to breeze through it in one sitting and then tell you guys how much it sucked. :)
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (day one, baby)
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy
The Crew 2
Probably get Spider-Man at some point too.
I think that Spyro the remastered trilogy will be the only one I buy that comes out this year. I've got about 12 games in my steam cart I'm planing to buy as soon as July 3RD rolls around, the two biggest being SAO Hollow Realization and Fallout 4, GOTY edition. I could also end up buying Pokemon Ultra Sun and Zelda majors mask 3D for the 3DS, and possibly Pokemon snap and puzzle league if that N64 I bought at a yardsale works fine.

You may journey alone in your own campaign. But, if I'm not mistaken, there won't be traditional AI NPCs. Instead, they'll consist of other players like you.
I just bought Far Cry 5. So, I'm set for the rest of the year. More than likely, I'll keep visiting its game world even after I finish the SP campaign like I'm still doing with Fallout 4.
