- Metroid Dread
- Shin Megami Tensei V
- Sonic Colors Ultimate
- Tales of Arise
- Lost Judgement
Not sure if I'll keep Tales, but I'm pretty solid on the rest. How about you, SW?

Nothing right now. Thought about preordering Tales of Arise for Xbox but I should be able to find a copy here in stores on release day.
I don't see myself preordering anything for the next year. The industry has been in a slump for years. I expected something of excitement to be announced shortly before or after the PS5 launch but there's nothing I'm hyped for. Not just on Playstation but on any platform. Unless something changes soon, PS5 will be my exit system for being up to date on gaming. I'll be calling it quits on anything new and playing what's already been released.
I do not pre order games.
But I'm expecting to be day 1 on
Halo - its fucking Halo -_-
Battlefield - The Homies
Melty Blood - its a fighting game, duh, best genre in gaming. And we have rollback
Metroid Dread - it's Metroid, my favorite game ever is Super Metroid
Tales of Arise - idk why, I'm feeling like giving this one a shot to get some Tales of Combo Mad on
I have interest in games like Death loop, Monkey Ball, SMT5 (pls dont' suck like 4), Outer Wilds dlc, Solar Ash, kena, skate bird, and in theory Lost Judgment (but I gotta play Judgement n get through some of the yakuzas before hand), but they aren't guaranteed imma get em.
Preordering games is for teenagers that consider the preorder bonuses to be worth it, when in reality its 100% garbage that you will stop using within 60minutes of gameplay.
Preordering games😂
Just a few games I have already pre-order:
Just to be clear, there's nothing wrong with pre-ordering a game but "only" do it if you know this is the game you wanna play on day one, and most importantly, pre-ordering digital has its benefit when it comes to "pre-download" which helps out so it's pretty much the reason why I pre-order.
Though I would like to see anyone who pre-order the Steam Deck post it here. The games I'll get on day one are: (have nothing to do with pre-order but likely a day one purchase)
Nothing so far BUT I'm kind of leaning towards getting metroid. If this were 3d metroid, then I'd probably place a preorder. I rarely pre order any game. There's only a few that would convince me that is super smash, metroid, halo
Same ones you asked a month ago in a thread exactly like this one.
Call of Duty Vanguard??????
In terms of games, I only have the Metroid Dread Special Edition preordered.
But I also have the Switch OLED and Xbox Series X Halo Special Edition preordered too.
Only Halo because it's ritualistic for me, I've done so for every iteration.
Might do so for Elden Ring, if not purchasing day one.
Not game related, but hardware-related: Nintendo Switch OLED model and the Game & Watch Legend of Zelda.
I had a ps5 ordered thankfully that's arrived in good shape. In terms of games I want life is strange and lost judgement might pre load them.
I don't see the point in pre-ordering games. It's not like they run out on release day. On top of that, I generally wait for price drops on games or wait for the complete edition to launch and go on sale.
I did preorder a steam deck though.
I don't get the hate for preorders. You see a game that really interests you and you decide you want it. Click preorder on your site of choice, then just wait.
Big whoop?
Back during 5th, 6th, & 7th, gens, pre-ordering games wasn't bad at all but until like around late in 7th gen, developers/publishers got carried away locking certain content unless you pre-order. Hate isn't the word, it's the BS content locking and other stuff is why most gamers are against pre-ordering.
To me, this is two-folds:
The logical thing to do is to not pre-order and let other people find out if the game is quality or if it is shitty. If its shitty, you have less incentive to buy it, and developers have more incentive to not make shitty games. It puts the consequence of making less money back into the developer's side of the equation instead of putting most of the risk with you, the consumer. Thus, many people will now not pre-order because pre-ordering has gotten out of hand. Nintendo, I'll pre-order their games cause they hardly make any mistakes and the other I mention above, I've done my research, so I got no worries and "if" the games on Steam are shit, I'll ask for a refund. Either way, I win😁
I know I'm going to play the hell out of Battlefield, so that's the only one.
Considering pre-ordering Stalker 2 because I can get like 20% off of the price if I do on GMG.
deathloop. decided to support arkane for ballsy game design. might be their last on playstation. plus been very little to play on ps5 for ages so fck it, i want a new game. 90% certain ill like it, maybe love it. and then hopefully returnal will have finally dropped from £70 by the time im done with it
I guess my gamepass sub sorta counts as a pre-order for Forza Horizon 5
but yea. pre ordering games is not a good idea and I haven't done it for years
I pre order games so that they'll be delivered, on day one, to my rural home that is a long distance from any store. It's easier to do that than it is to drive to another county and spend gas money. With Amazon Prime I pay no shipping fees.

Yea, people are being pretty silly about pre-ordering.

Nah! We just use modern technologies, that is all.
Not everybody lives in the city.

Time to update.
I'm digital on Xbox, but physical on Playstation and Switch. I don't trust Sony and Nintendo enough with digital media to full convert.

That is understandable.
Yeah, it's kinda weird how easy it is to get refunds on Xbox, and so hard with Playstation and Switch. Plus, when I play an old game on Xbox, or even a secondary system, the cloud saves just download automatically with no effort from me, but on PS and Switch you have to manually download them.
Little things like that makes a lot of difference.
