Half life 2
For the amount of praise dumped on that game I find it weak in every area that make a shooter a shooter.

Half life 2
For the amount of praise dumped on that game I find it weak in every area that make a shooter a shooter.
1: MGS4. Excessively long and boring cutscenes sucked me right out of the game rather than took me deeper in. A 10 it is not.
2: NMH: Deeply flawed, terrible overworld andhorribly tediousside quests. A 9? More like a 7.5, 8 if you're feeling generous.
3: AC: This game got so horribly repetitive that it actually became a chore to continue to play. Not a AAA tier game. Not only that, I didn't really think it was all that great on any level, just an average (apart from the visuals) and often times tedious experience.I would've given it a 6.5 or a 7.0.
4: GTAIV. I had a good time playing this game, but much like MGSIV I would not have given this one a 10. Maybe 9.0 - 9.5. Still great, just not that great.
5: Halo 3. Shouldn't be a 9.5. In my book 9.5 is very, very close to being AAAA quality. I had a good time playing it, but I would've given it an 8.5 or a 9.0 instead.
6: All the COD games. Yep, all of 'em.
And avatar.[QUOTE="mo0ksi"]Basically this except replace GTA4 with Fallout 3 Also, you switched back to your old sig. Awesome.RobbieH1234
The Emmy nominations yesterday drove me to it. The complete snubbing of The Shield reminded me of The Wire, and here we are. Justin Timberlake has more nominations. :|
Yeah I seen the nominations on Rotten Tomatoes and it makes me sick knowing that The Shield got the exact same treatment as The Wire did. It's becasue of that why I think the Emmy's have no credibility whatsoever, a complete joke. I don't want to rant on this subject or else it would be very long, but I understand completely. At least Generation Kill got some nods.[QUOTE="Ballroompirate"]
FFX, I freaking hate that game
avatar_genius
I don't.
I love it.
In fact, I'm playing it right now.
What's your opinion on the other Final Fantasys?
Theres only one other FF game I hate more than 10 and that was X2, enjoyed all the other ones specially IV,V,VI,VII,VIII (9 was ok),XI and XII (looking forward to XIII & XIII VS)Yeah I seen the nominations on Rotten Tomatoes and it makes me sick knowing that The Shield got the exact same treatment as The Wire did. They put Heroes, ******* Heroes, ahead of season 4 of The Wire. Madness. It's the same as putting a crappy season of House ahead of The Shield. Nothing for Michael Chiklis and Walton Goggins is also insane.
Ugh.

Ugh.
That's what ****** me up the most: That Season 4, which is probably the greatest piece of media ever crafted, gets "bested" by crap like Heroes and CSI when in fact they're not a 1/10th of the substance that The Wire carries throughout the whole series. It's like the prime definition of "Criminally under appreciated" . What was even worse were the BS reasons the Emmy voters gave for snubbing the show for all those years. You seriously need to give credit when it's due, and not giving credit to the most intelligent cop drama on television is pitiful. It's a damn shame to see The Shield getting the undeserved snubbing.Halo, sure it's got good multiplayer... but there are plenty of games with good multiplayer... it don't make it the best game ever.... also GTAIV
Halo Combat Evolved, not that it is a bad game but I don't understand why people always keep praising it as one of the heights in FPS history. There were very little guns which were mainly point and shoot weapons, level design varied from very good to horrible and repetitive. And even though it offered alot of multiplayer options it wasn't avaliable for online play since Xbox Live wasn't created yet.
Gears of war series- Crap single player and story coupled with glitch filled broken MP and yet lemmings hype it to the moon :?
MGS - Terrible gameplay, story and characters plusMGO is total garbage
CoD series after 4- Yearly rehash of the same game with a new coat of pain, newbified gameplay and one new game mode yet they charge FULL price for it ?
