What games do you prefer to play on each platform?

PC: PC is like my backup option. It's there for Xbox games if I want to play it. I also have ultra wide, so certain games definitely benefit from that. I think overall though, PC is great for games like Divinity or Starcraft. Being able to micro manage your characters on a monitor is easier.

PS5: PS5 has become my defacto system for multiplats. I have an aging PC (5 years old now), and the PS5 is a steal for the price. I'm not sure when I'll upgrade my PC. But for now PS5 pretty much covers most of the games I want to play. I also have my PS5 for the award winning Sony hits. Sony 1st party games are the talk of the town, and Playstation owners get to benefit from the high quality experiences of these games.

Switch: The Switch is a beast. It's not just a Nintendo machine for me. I can enjoy multiplat games as well. Depends if I want that portable experience. Recently I got Apex Legends for Switch and I love it. Have the option to play on screen or in handheld mode with my Hori controller. For me, graphics are nice, but having that portable option is really great.

Xbox: I don't have an Xbox anymore, but if I did, I would definitely take advantage of the hardware and I would be curious to try out the BC capability. At the end of the day though, I don't play a lot of old games. Just don't have the time. I'm always trying the next thing!

How about you, SW? What games do you prefer to play on each platform?

PC: RTS and other mouse reliant games in addition to the freebies offered on Epic Store.

PS5: PlayStation only games but there has been an absolute lack of games as of late. I guess I can play old games on it with PSNow. I heard it is the place to rent and stream old games because of the lack of BC on the PS5 and PS4.

Switch: Collecting dust since Nintendo is just recycling older games for the past 2 years.

Xbox: GamePass machine for GamePass games, like the 20 that dropped last week and every future Bethesda...Xbox Studio Game day one. Not much of a fan of spending $70 on a one and done game.

Everything on pc except racing games (which i never even play), fighting games (which i never even play) and Souls-like titles. But then again, you can use a controller on pc so...

Souls like titles like Mortal Shell. I heard it is highly recommended by you. So, I may take a plunge.

I don't play specific things on my PC and Xbox, I just play everything on them.

Although I could say I use the PC for Playstation games as well with PSNow.

Right now I use my Xbox 360 for Ace Combat 6 mainly.

I don't frequently play my Nintendo consoles. But I have a Wii U ready with an MClassic plugged in, which is awesome for Wii games.

Playstation: Ratchet and Clank (and that's about it)

Switch: First Party Games, indies, and JRPGs (and No More Heroes 1,2 and soon 3!)

PC: Indies, Survival Games, Building Games, Indies, Mobas, MMOs, Strategy games

Xbox: Gamepass (that is it and MORE than enough to keep me VERY happy with MS)

PC: Western SRPG, 4x Sims, City Building, Sims and whatever else in the simulation genre.

PlayStation: Anything AAA, JRPG, RPG and whatever else that is AA and AAA and have great multiplayer sessions with friends. Also trophy hunting.

Switch: whatever RPG somehow not on PS.

Gaming PC for everything else. PS4/Nintendo Switch just for exclusives but if I'm being honest about it, I prefer playing the Switch the most as my secondary gaming system only for its portability that I always use for.

PC: everything I like. Best graphics and performance. More options and customization.

PS5: exclusives and couch co-op games.

PS5: Almost everything for when I'm playing without my kids. They've also been enjoying Astro's Playroom and Destruction Allstars though. Currently looking forward to quite a bit that's announced but sadly, I don't have much time to play these days. Hoping to see that new Ninja Turtlesgame get a physical edition to play online with friends. Currently replaying the Uncharted games in the midst of the third.

Switch: Any family appropriate games are purchased for Switch; especially those with couch co-op. I'll be buying Ninja Turtles on Switch as well as we have plenty of controllers for 4 player. The only series primarily for me on Switch is Zelda but it's also kid appropriate and they enjoy it. I'm not currently playing much of anything but the kids are enjoying Animal Crossing still.

Xbox: fps

Ps: 3rd person adventure

Switch: indie

PC is my catch-all with multiplats and exclusives. Switch and PS4 are for exclusives. I play all kinds of genres across the 3.

Pretty much everything on PC these days. Exclusives on PS4. Souls games I like on console, too.

Switch: everything except big AAA showpiece games and online multiplayer titles.

Series X: Big AAA showpiece games, and online multiplayer titles.

On the Xbox i prefer to play Youtube because it doesn't have any games 😎

Xbox - For anything and everything that interests me.

Switch - For exclusives and some multi platform games that I want for that portability feature.

PlayStation - For the exclusives that interest me.

Everything on PC. No need to play on anything but PC unless it is an exclusive. You can play however you want on PC.

@i_p_daily: Not yet. Got some games for it for cheap a little while ago though. Just saying that in general I get the PlayStation systems pretty much just for their exclusives.

Well, on PC it's mostly survival stuff. 7 Days to Die, Valheim, Stationeers, etc.

No Xbox, but I do have Game Pass, for that it's MCC, Sea of Thieves, SOR4.

Switch it's either Smash Bros or Mario 35.

I mean, there's really no reason for me to play anything on consoles unless I have to - but Switch gets bonus points for Indies and retro releases that just feel right at home. I play bite sized games on it instead of pc for the versatility

PS4: A few exclusives.

Switch: I don't have one yet; but I'm I want to buy one for the exclusives, portability, and the uniqueness/versatility that sets it apart from the typical other consoles that kinda feel like closed off PC's (Xbox/PS). I've been holding out for a more powerful one for years now. I really don't like how weak it is sometimes. (The framerates of Xenoblade Chronicle's 2 comes to mind.. :\ ). Other than that..., I feel like Nintendo is on the right path in regards to console functionality imo. They just need to find a way to balance out power/battery life more.

Mostly on PC. I only play games on consoles if they are exclusive to it.

I play everything on PC and I prefer to play everything on PC. All my gaming all in one place.

Why not? I have my PC connected to my TV in the living room while it sits on a desk in another room. I can sit/stand at the desk, lay down on the couch, and use the racing rig all off the same PC...

My PS5 is hooked up to the same TV and I only use it for exclusives...

PC is just straight up better and you can play however you want.

Yet I somehow do

PS4 Pro - I'm pretty much covered with anything I want to play, except for jpgs, lol, not my cup of tea. No rush in getting a PS5 just yet.

Switch : My main console. I play all of my JRPG's on it.

From Fire Emblem to Xenoblade Chronicles, you name it, I more than likely already have it.

I play everything on PC unless it's not available.

If a game is available for the Switch then I'll play it on the Switch because it's the most convenient and flexible platform I own. Otherwise, I'll play on PC.
