What games have you given a score of 10/10 to so far this generation?

Fallout 3, Oblivion, Halo3, and LBP. Last gen I gave a 10 to MGS3, Resident Evil 4, and Halo 2. There's tons of games I have with 9.5 that would probably be a 9.8 or 9.9 if GameSpot had the old 100 point rating scale though, such as RDR, Just Cause 2, Demon's Souls, R&C series, KZ2, Portal series, GoW3. I wouldn't just simply round up to a 100 as a game with a perfect 10 to me has to be something special that I remember for a long time.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.

Just MGS4. But that's more due to nostalgia and fanboyism :P It's really a great game though. :) killerfist

I have not given out a 10/10 to any game. this gen. There have been a select few that have come close, but not quite.

Halo 3, and some others I'm sure I just can't think of

Hmm none.
The best ones... if i can remember correctly... were the SMG games, the Zelda games aside from TP, and Ghost Trick, and TF2.
So maybe I would give one of those a 10.

Actually for me as an allround gamer, nintendo made a lot of games this generation which were at the top. I also loved Warioland on the wii and DKC:R, Bowsers inside story, and Mario Kart with the wheel, and MP3's motion controls. They were really rocking this gen.

Geometry Wars 2 has been the only one so far. The game improved on the original and provided a fun, colorful experience that never gets old. Turns out that it's an arcade game too :P.

Eh. I really can't think of anything. I guess the closest ones are MGS4, RDR, Batman AA, Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, and Dragon Age: Origins (with extensive mods; but even these fall short of such glory as being the "perfect" game.

EDIT: Actually, I'll go ahead and give it to MGS4. It's the one game I can think of where I wouldn't have changed anything. Well.. except for the big install after every chapter.. so yeah no game is perfect. :(

Bioshock = 10/10

Brilliant concept, fun gameplay, top notch voice work, amazing graphics, and a incredibly immersive atmosphere. It's still a masterpiece IMO.

The only other games that have came close to getting a "10" from me this gen are Batman Arkham Asylum and Red Dead Redemption.

The only 2 games that came close to a 10 for me were Persona 4 and Valkyria Chronicles.

I'd give Team Fortress 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 1 both scores of ten. Both are terrifically fun and I have no major problems with them. Though with that said, I have yet to play Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Good thing that doesn't ruin my fun.:) But that did bring up one thing to mind: random critical hits do get a bit annoying. Still, neither issue is a big problem for me.

I don't feel like any weapons are imbalanced, at least not enough to be a problem.

However some weapons are just stupid like the huntsman, and the dead ringer.

I still use probably 90% of the old weapons on all the characters.

Absolutely none.

Now, being a pessismist is easy but every single dev this gen concluded that Michael Bay was more inspiring than Stanley Kubrick.

Edit: Actually...... I'll Give Demon's Souls a 10 for being better than the rest while giving me the feeling that someone declared "do not "streamline"!!!!!!" during development.

Editedit: While this never occured to me, I suppose Crysis deserves a 10 as well because I can't think of any game I've replayed as much. Hate give such a score to a shooter though ;)

Games are getting better at incorporating more elements like story, cinematics etc. Not that I feel that justifies 1os at all but generally I think it helps with high scores.
