My picks would have to be the 2 truly awful games from Spark Unlimited...
So incredibly disappointing. True potential wasted.

Fable.
Peter had great ideas, but they sadly never got in game.

While Fable did have grand plans, I'd hardly call it a poorly executed product in the end. It just fell short of the promise, but was still a well executed product.
There are way too many. Halo 3 is the worst, the graphics suck, the music sucks, the story sucks, the 8th level sucks, the multiplayer sucks (nothing new), the ally AI sucks, and the new concepts are terrific.di_sgt_barber:o halo is the best online game this gen and has great graphics and it ends the cliffhanger ending in halo 2 awesome game non the less:?

You aren't even on topic with this post. You just took someone's subject and used it as a platform for your pre-existing Halo hating fanboy agenda. Or are you saying that Halo 3 is a great idea, that just had poor execution? :|

So what. Do you have any sort of standards? I loved all the Halos, especially Halo 3. It took it's reoccurring themes and made them even better in each game.

no freakin' crap. that fits the context of the thread. NO I KIDDING! I HAVE SONY FANBOY SUPERSPY AGENDA!Maybe you are being sarcastic, but you really do come across that way. Halo 3 is exclusive to 360, so of course it has to be a complete failure on every level you pointed out. Not one redeeming trait, since it's not on PS3, Wii, or PC
Off the top of my head:
- BioShock
- Deus Ex 2
- Far Cry 2
- Valkyria Chronicles
- Jade Empire
- Mirror's Edge
- GTA 4
- Too Human
- Spore
PBSnipes
I agree with you, except for Valkyria Chronicles. I thought that game was executed brilliantly.

I found the whole "WW2 run through the Disney Machine several dozen times" atmosphere and the dialogue vomit-inducing, alternate-universe be damned.Nice list. I agree with the ones i played from it. But why Valkyria Chronicles? (I haven't played that one yet)Off the top of my head:

I was all ready to come in here saying Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, but you already mentioned it in your OP.:P
[QUOTE="tOtalPWNaAe"][QUOTE="WAIW"]Littlebigplanet
Dark Sector
Nintendogs
WAIW
this is far from poor executed
I disagree.
what do you think made it so bad?????[QUOTE="WAIW"][QUOTE="tOtalPWNaAe"]this is far from poor executed

I disagree.
what do you think made it so bad?????The concept of 3 planes did not work out well at all. Navigating through them can be frustrating and the game frequently doesn't know which plane you want to go to.
The level editor is a great idea on paper, and truthfully it is extensive and enjoyable. But there are a host of problems. The camera, for one, and that it takes awhile to make anything thanks to the Dual Shock 3. The controls would have worked -much- better on PC.
The controls are just terrible. I've never played a 2D platformer before with controls that aren't good :? Floaty physics make it impossible to make precise jumps, which is very important in a 2D platformer. I wasn't too impressed with the Paintenator controls, either; jumping while shooting is a nuisance.
It might sound like I dislike the game, but I don't. I just think it's overall execution could be much better.
Skate: Maybe if EA put more effort into making this game, gave the city more life, let you get off your board, changed the camera angle so you can see something other than just your skater and the sky and let you change the music, this game would've been better. Tony Hawk games are still the best.
Mirror's Edge: It's just repetitive and too linear. If they gave you more freedom it would've been better.
