What games would you give a 10/10? (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

10/10 meaning whatever you consider to be a 10/10 in your own mind

I have only 3:

Super Mario Bros.

Super Metroid

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I have tons of games that I would consider close to a 10, but I honestly can say that probably my favorite moments in gaming (and possibly due to my age) were pulling the master sword out of the ground and aging, running the hell out of an exploding planet in Super Metroid (oh, and who saves your life in the last fight), and Super mario Bros., the first game I have ever played. These games were so excellent, nothing came close to the experience at that time that those games gave me.

Dead Space

Super Mario Bros, Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII (yeah I know I'm a n00b :roll: ), and...MGS4 (I finished it today and it was ammmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzing).

Bioshock. and Oblivion.

In my mind? Well then I'm going to use a different method than I do when rating games here on the site.

I gave MGS4 a 10 here, but I don't think I'd say it is my favorite game or a 10 in the fun department. Its an extraordinary game, but the gameplay does have it's things that aren't necessarily for me all the time.

KH2 might have it if it wasn't for the easy difficulty; FFXII might have it if it had a story more akin to FFX or LO. LO is close but some technical issues keep it away. SotC is a good contender as well, but controls are a little wonky. The Zelda series has their fair share of titles that I enjoy, but all of them have a small fault here or there.

So I guess I haven't exactly found my perfect 10 yet.

Pretty much only Crusader Kings. Game is absolutely amazing.jeffwulf

and i think that's about it. I was never a big fan of the 3D Zelda games. I did like Twilight Princess but to me Zelda was best back in the Zelda: A Link to the Past days.

I have standards as tall as Mt.Everest. I would first of all remove most of the games that has been given a 10 except for OoT. My personal picks would be:
Super Metroid
Starcraft
Perfect Dark
Chrono Trigger
Super Mario Bros 1 and 3

Super Mario World, Goldeneye, Half-Life, Metroid Prime, System Shock 2, and possibly Street Fighter 2 are games I would have scored very close to a 10 if not a perfect 10.

There are also a lot of other games I would score a 9.5, but there is no point in listing all of those (Super Mario 64, Grim Fandango etc). And I could probably work my way back with a few 10s before the Snes.
