What Games Would You Like to See Remade?

Assuming you could have any game (including games from this generation) remade, which ones would you want remade?

Who would you want to do the remake?

What systems would you want it to be on?

Personally, I'd love to see Obsidian remake Knights II and give it all the content it deserved the first time around.

I want a remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus.

The PS1 Final Fantasy games.

The Shin Megami games that didn't make it America. Mostly the Saturn games I think.

Zelda- A Link to the Past in 3D would be something else.

Halo: Combat Evolved and The Longest Journey (but with Dreamfall's gameplay mechanics) are the only games that immediately come to mind.

I think that game has been past due for a Re-release.

Not much of a fan for remakes, but rather for the fresh new ideals one. Anyway to answer your question I wouldn't mind Resident 2 in HD with some minor changes to keep the game fresh.

Final Fantasy 1-6 HD 2D Remakes for All hand helds and as DLC for home consoles.

Final Fantasy 7-9 HD 3D Remakes for PS3 and maybe Xbox360.

Instead of making bad MMO's and questionable crystal chronicle games. SE should just remake the older games that made them the company they are now.

SE must have heard that money is the route of all evil, and thus are trying there best to lose it all.

I'm pretty sure any HD remakes they did would be profitable. I'd probably buy them all, and i don't even like Final Fantasy, aside from 6 and 9

The more and more I play new games this gen... the more I realize that many older games I enjoy playing more. I would love to see a plethora of older games actually remade (and not just re-released with a HD boost to resolution). Added content wouldn't be necessary, but upgraded controls (i.e. like what Skulltag did for Doom by adding jumping and free-aim) and more modern elements (like The Twin Snakes did for MGS, just without the changed story).

The legendary series deservers a decent ending, with the original Bob White plot.

Seems like a blatant cash grab to me. Worse than the "New Play Control" series on Wii, because at least some of those games benefited from motion (Mario Power Tennis) and pointer (Pikmin, Metroid) controls.savebattery

Please, no remakes. The most I'll take are remastered versions of games, but we need to encourage more new games to be made.
