What Games Would You Like to See Remade?

I would like to see all of the 80s-90s games to be re-imagined or remade, put into your mind that they are made in the ideal situations AKA the uncharteds, GTAs and Halos where they only release their games when they feel right and fully realized to their potential, big budgets for better development tools...etc.

I would like to see fully blown 3D Mega Man in full HD with the same old formula, something between Vanquish and uncharted gameplay wise and pacing wise, that's how I imagine it because the games are linear in nature and I think that's the best transition to 3D for a game like that.

And at the same time a 2.5D version of the same game so people could enjoy both worlds.

Next thing on the list is a 3D Symphony of the night, I want that magical masterpiece to return with it's deep mechanics, open-ended level design, musical genius in full 3D, just imagine transforming and exploring that amazing castle in full 3D glory.

after playing and beating Lords of Shadow, I need to see a remake for Shadow of the Colossus, I don't mind to see a recent game to be remade.

Contra in 3D would be amazing, I want to see that to happen without any change to formula and what I mean by that I want to see two players co-op and the same weapons with the ridiculously awesome circle looking bullets with the same difficulty...etc.

Sonic adventure from the dreamcast but evolved with big open worlds that you discover and travel to.

can you imagine Pepsiman in 3D? all those garbage being thrown at you and umping over fences would be epic.

Oh I guess I should eventually answer the question...

I would love to see Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the 3DS, it's my favorite game ever and having it portable would just be amazing.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past completely redone in the 3-D Zelda style would be awesome if they could pull it off, although I imagine some fans would be completely opposed to the idea.

Basically any Zelda transferred to the 3DS would be great for me.

I don't think SOTN would really translate well into 3D.

For a remake, I'd nominate Star Wars:Battlefront(the game hasn't aged well at all), and Timesplitters 2(add online and such), and KOTOR 2(add in all the cut content). I'd like to see Van Buren(original Fallout 3) be made too.

Ico is $35 used from Gamestop and Shadow of the Colossus is $20, so you'd pay $55 if you wanted to get both used. On eBay they're no cheaper. The collection is supposed to be what? $40 or $50? By buying the collection you not only save $5-$15 (depending on which price it is), but also get the far superior versions, especially for SotC.

GTA and MGS games with revamped controls and cover systems. Even GTA IV and MGS4 has improper cover systems that were a bit sticky and unfortunate, use a normal Uncharted 2/Gears of War cover please. Also, add as much new content as possible, new side missions and VR missions out the wazoo would be great.

Agreed. I'd love a graphical overhaul. But, I'd leave the water physics alone. It can still hold its own today.

a remake of comix zone on the 360 and PS3 would be interesting, although a lot of people would probably just assume its a clone of comic jumper

Parasite Eve with 3rd person + shooter/rpg.

I would like to see Twisted Metal 1 and 2 remade in HD. Leave the games as they are, but just give me updated graphics. ALSO...the original GHost Recon..HD graphics and fix broken controles. AND...SSX and SSX Tricky..HD graphics and correct the detection mechanics as well...ie "going through snowflake and it not counting"...:(

1. Final Fantasy VII. No reason needed.
2. Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura - I didn't like what I had tried of Buldar's Gate 2, but I was enjoying what I had played of Arcanum a lot. To be honest, I don't know why I stopped playing it. I actually might buy it when I get the chance. Anyway, I think a remake of an awesome game with a traditional steampunk setting (albeit, with magic) would be awesome. Bioshock Infinite can quench my thirst, but not in the way a good RPG would.
