What gaming announcement(s) would you love to hear right now (realistic or not)?

Here’s what comes to mind for me:

• Release dates
  • Persona 6
  • Kingdom Hearts 4
  • Grand Theft Auto 6
  • Fable
• Switch 2 launch lineup
• Kojima and Konami announce they’ve made up and are making games together again.
  • They bring back Silent Hills and work on the next MGS.
• Clovers/Capcom announce remasters for Viewtiful 1, 2, and GodHand
• MGS4 and MGS Revengeance remasters

How about you, SW? What gaming announcement would you love to hear right now (realistic or not)?

The return of F-Zero and extreme sports games.

Normal videogame from Valve.

The closure of Blizzard.

New Burnout, Midnight Club, Motorstorm

Total collapse of the industry. Power limits imposed by governments that make new devs scale back their graphics and focus more on gameplay, make do with what they have. Any new devs must have their brains wiped of all but the most fundamental games or be reeducated, to cut down on the excessive copying that made games so boring. Most players have already left gaming, so budgets can be reduced; games can be specialized for smaller groups of players again, still studio, but not AAAA slop.

A PTO V Pacific Theater Operations announced. Built like I-III and not lame IV. PTO II is my second favourite game of all time.

A new SSX game.

Might as well toss MS a bone, a new Amped game. Maybe it will go Multiplatform.

This Forum made me aware of a 'leaked' Oblivion Remake which isn't the fan mod Skyoblivion. So now I want to know what it is, and what it looks like.

A new Donkey Kong Country game I feel is overdue, it would make Switch 2 more appealing.

Capcom just needs to port Demento and Outbreak to modern platforms. Just do it already.

Whatever Larians new game is; probably Original Sin III. One of my favorite RPG developers, I don't play many massive games, for Larian I make an exception.

Also want to see the brand new Legacy of Kain game, which we only know is in development. Already asked time and time again across the years for Soul Reaver to be revived and that one has already been done now, which has been selling very well.

*I don't need to ask for a new Ninja Gaiden, Streets of Rage, Dragon's Dogma anymore because we got all of them.

I'd be all for limiting power and making developers have to focus on evolving gameplay first and foremost. It's obvious that isn't happening in the AAA space and likely won't due to budgets.... We're stuck in a cycle of playing the exact same games over and over and over... The graphics and cinematics being the only things to have evolved... I'm at the point of saturation with so many genres and there are zero graphically superior games that will shake the fact that they're spending 400 million making the same games they made for 50 million ten years ago and probably 20 million ten years before that...

RIGS 2, that is a good one. RIGs 1 was so much fun on PSVR.

PSVR 1 had some really immersive/great games: Eve Valkyrie, Skyrim, RIGS, to a lesser degree Star Trek Bridge Crew.

@TheEroica: Castlevania Rebirth is an official Castlevania game and not a homebrew game, is that what you mean? It's a re-imagining of Castlevania The Adventure, like how Super Castlevania was a re-imagining of the original Castlevania. They are both 16-bit style 2D Castlevania games. It seems close to what you want.

Very cool... Is that one in the Advanced collection?

Super Castlevania IV had a seel all it's own. The whip being free flowing was a big part of the fun. I'd love to see them revisit that.

That Remedy was working on a collab with David Lynch prior to his death.
