I saw a link that proved gears 2 copied uncharted's cover system, 1st proving that Cliff Bleszinski acknowledges that it is different from theirs and secondly proving that uncharted did not copy from gears.

Telling the other person to play both games, when they acknowledge that they have and have adequate knowledge of both games, does not count as proof. It's

I just don't think it could make that kind of image quality, add some jaggies and lower texture res a little and I think it would be possible.
It's just a tech demo people. Remember CryEngine 2's tech demo a few years ago? And remember how different Crysis turned out relative to the tech demo? One thing that tech demos don't display is the framerate. It could be running at 15fps, but by no means acceptable gameplay wise.

Cliff Bleszinski doesn't think so, I'll take his word over yours.I don't think that looks much better than Crysis shots or video that I've seen. Also, while this is their tech demo, it isn't certain that they could reach this level of graphical fidelity on the consoles.masterpinky2000i agree.Its all about the software, look at how good some games were looking at the end of the PS2's life cycle.God of War 1 and 2 looked great, yet the PS2's hardware was supposed to be marginally inferior to the Xbox at the time. So as long as these developers keep crafting these game engines to utilize different consoles powers, then we will continue to see games look better and better.

Aside from the graphics I am pretty sure Uncharted borrowed alot ofthings from GeOW.
They did, naughty dog said straight off the bat that they were inspired by gears of war. But those screens looks just like the second level in uncharted drakes fortune, where your walking through the jungle with Sully. I guess its nice seeing some color in a demonstration from epic, i really was starting to think those guys were color blind.
looks awesome...i'm always a little wary of tech demos, though.

Judging by what we've seen so far... it actually is a fact. Sorry.

Are you freakin out of your mind?Spus have been used for 3 yrs now by 3rd party developers.Just go to b3d,actual devs there say that they use spus for skinning,triangle culling and some post processing(that was in 2007).If you want ps3 games to run and look like 360 you HAVE to use spus.Its no secret that everybody uses them.You guys think that devs are left with 3-4 spus for helping rsx but that is such a stupidity...ppu does nothin in ps3,it gives job to spus,so you have to run all your cpu code from 6 spus and you also have to help rss.What you think,how many of them are left for it?Since 3 core cpu in 360 will be pretty much maxed to its limits with Crysis 2,they will probably use 5 spus for physics,a.i,sound...they are lucky if they are left with one spu for skinning and culling,and one for post processing.
Get back to earth,there is not 15 of them,there is 6 and they must do cpu job,and they are not as strong as ppu,so you will have to use more of them then you would use ppus in 360.
NV RSX (G70 variant) has less features and it's less flexible than ATI Xenos, hence it's need for SPE support.
With ATI Xenos (and unified shaders GPU design in general), a programmer can cull a vertex data with a pixel kill instruction.

For culls,ATI Xenos includes Early-Z pass(1) andHierarchical Z buffer.
