IMO no game deserves a 10 score unless every facet of said game is perfect, that means no pop-in (looks at gta4) and no low res textures and broken online(mgs4) both games deserve 8.5 and 9 respectively.

I second this, with the exception of Assassin's Creed.
No More Heroes was fun but the open world was horrible and jobs made it a hassle 7.5 / 10 Assassins Creed looked great and had its fun parts but they just repeated 20 times and nothing fresh ever seemed to come 8.0 / 10
best story and best dungeons in a zelda game ever.. and jeff G. (lol) complained about a hardware failure (wii mote speaker is not accurate or low fi according to him.. which i dont agree but whatever) in a software review...
Metal Gear Solid 4..................haha no im just joking, but sersiously......PDZ, Assassins Creed, resitsance 2, gears 2, maybe some other ones but im not digging deep into the gamespot archives to look for games
Zelda: Majora's Mask- 8.3 This is the one review that really boggles my mind. What did it do so wrong that it warrants an 8.3? Nintendo tried to give us something new and different than OOT with MM. I mean you were exploring a different world. You had a different villian. The story didn't even revolve around saving Zelda for crying out loud. So in the end it gets knocked points because it isn't OOT, but then TP comes a knockin at the door, and gets docked points for being too much like OOT. So what do you want?
Mario Kart 64 and DD- 6.4 and 7.9 In Mario Kart 64, they gave value a 5 and tilt a 6. Something is messed up there.
Diddy Kong Racing 64- 6.6 Once again, they gave value a 6 and tilt a 6. Still not gettin it.
Metal Gear Solid- They gave it an 8.5. AN 8.5!!! Come on now. What in the heck was that reviewer thinking. That was definitely an AAA game. Best in the series IMO.
Shenmue 7.8 The reviewer seriously got that one just plain wrong. That's all I have to say. And don't forget, the reviewer actually gave it a lower score, but changed it later because fans really got upset.
Shadow of the Colossus- 8.7 That game was a masterpiece and was robbed of AAA. This game is still better than half the junk that comes out today.

Baten Kaitos Origins- 7.5 This game was better than the original in almost every way, yet it scores a whole point less?? And what really irks me about this review is that the person who reviewed it, reviewed DQVIII as well. All the things she ripped BKO for, were pretty much praised in DQVIII.
Metroid Prime 3- 8.5 That review was one big mess. I mean the reviewer basically says that the game doesn't feel like previous Prime games, but then turns right around and says that it is too much of the same.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves: 9.1 Believe it or not, this at one point was the highest scoring Wii game. I mean this game can get AAA, but TP and MP3 can't??? And just think, this is the game that Jeff went out to buy a Wii for.
Ratchet and Clank: 7.5 Say what?? Oh that's right, it had an identity crisis.
Dead Rising: 8.4 That game was pure fun and deserved AAA.
Condemned: Criminal Origins: 8.0 The one game from the 360 launch that I thought was really underrated.
SSBB: 9.5 A game with such a broken online doesn't deserve that score.
Harvest Moon 64: 7.3 What the F?? That game was AWESOME!!! But somehow A Wonderful Life gets an 8.7. IMO, those scores should be swapped, and then you should deduct more point from HM:aWL because that game was a complete snorefest.
And basically most of the scores on handhelds...Gamespot is just biased with handhelds IMO
I kinda agree. Look Castlevania Order of Ecclesia. AAA material from whatever angle you see it. The same goes for Chrono Trigger. Or the Megaman ZX games. Or Advance Wars Days of Ruin etc etc etc.
Not exactly the reviews I had the most problems with,but ones I felt had something worth mentioning.
Super Mario Galaxy - 10.Platforming perfection.
Twilight Princess - 9.2.The text was mostly spot-on,and easy to understand how it scored the way it did.I'd just bump up the score a little.
Metroid Prime 3 - 9.The text made some good points,but I had some problems with other points.One being that the reviewer seemed to blame the control scheme almost exclusively on the game's different feel; the game feels a bit more like a first-person shooter because of the actual design the of the game,and a control swap isn't the only cause.And I'd bump up the score one more increment.
