What happens if the new graphics king is a multiplat?

Say a game comes out for the PC and another console simultanesouly and the PC version is the best looking game of all time. The console version on the other hand is the same game but doesn't look nearly as great. Do the console guys get to claim victory over the others? I would say not in a million years but what do you think?

i get the sense you are talking about crysis if thats the case all the glory would belong to the pc for obvious reasons but anything else im not sure

I don't know I doubt that it will so far first-party games have been the shining gems of this gen. Even crysis is a PC exclusive game and its the best looking game by far.

This. Uusally when it goes multiplat in develpment, not ported to console later, it is not as impressive as exclusive PC games.

it would be funny if a 360/PS3 multiplat would be the next console 'graphics king' because then thousands of threads would be creating on a daily basis with avid fanboys from each side posting Millions of pics were it shows that on their beloved console there are areas were a couple more hi-rez textures are present, or there is slightly better lighting effects or else in a particular area one system was locked at 30fps while the other version sucked cause it went down to 29.95fps LOL

Never gonna happen. "Graphics King" is completely biased. Excluding the PC in an effort to make ones console look better is proof of this.

Since graphics King is decided by voted, it comes down to what system you own. Few people will actually deicde based on visuals alone, and most people won't have even played the game in question. Cows and Lemmings would never vote for a multiplat game, as it offers no "ownage" on the other.

It is possible but I think the one of the console versions will be made the primary version. It is easier to make a inferior version better than to make a superior version worse. If the PC version is made the primary version I say there is a chance, but that is the only chance.

I think a lot of fanboys don't include PCs in their rivalries. Mainly due to the fact that are so many different configurations you can apply to a PC, therefore the graphical capabilities are less limited. I'm not a PC gamer, mainly due to the fact that the 2laptops I ownare far from gaming machines, and I have never really gotten into the whole mouse and arrow key controls. PC vs MAC and 360,PS3, and Wii vs each other right now.
