Do you hear yourselves? MS is just starting to buy up exclusives and this will be a MS exclusive. (Windows, 360, X1).

The bottom line is when talking about console games.................it ain't coming to PS4. I'm sorry it makes you mad but that's the reality. It is also valid in a discussion about games coming out on the consoles.

Back on topic. Sony has nothing to compete with Titanfall and Quantum Break.

Second Son was looking very good at first but the last gameplay they released summed it up. Boring and repetitive. 7/10 all day long.

PC is still not MS though. IF that's true then we can consider the Xbox's as belonging to the companies that make the components.

In the sane, non-GS metagame world, PS3 overtook the 360 a couple of years ago in quality games.

The question isn't really what cows or actual gamers are going to do about TitanFall or Quantum Break. The question really is what are Lems going to do when these two games fail to push the XBone like they are expecting.

I honestly don't know. It depends on how good the game really is.

Metal Gear appeals to a very specific gaming audience - Metal Gear fans. TitanFall is a mass-appeal game; like Halo, Uncharted, Gears, or Killzone.

Oh, I forget, you've played it and you were elected the official representative of the masses.

Titanfall is not a X1 exclusive, therefore it is not really going to be that huge of the game for the platform when you consider that a lot of people will simply play it on PC or 360. Respawn would be committing financial suicide to keep the entire franchise exclusive to PC and X1 considering that the PS4 over its life will outsell the X1 by a 2:1 margin. You Xbots can have your little CoD/Mech tech demo, we PS4 owners will be happy to wait for the real Titanfall...Titanfall 2!!!

Let's not kid ourselves. Titan Fall will be a great game for multiplayer shooter gamers. Not just great but potentially massive. But to say it has mass appeal is utter tripe. It appeals to casual/bro/shooter fans. Which is no bad thing as they probably make up >40% of the gaming market. If it takes off it'll be great for MS.

To be honest if Titan Fall and Quantum Break are the big hitters that Lems are putting all their stock into then it's a very risky gamble. Both have the potential to be complete and utter flops.

If Titan Fall's formula works and multiplayer turns out to be amazing and fun then, as long as they can shift enough copies, it'll be a big hit but it's a very hard market to try and crash.

Quantum Break looks promising but as yet no gameplay has been released. Just look at Ryse. that looked great as well and we all know how that turned out.

Precisely my point, and here's the kicker. You don't need an XBone to play Titanfall. It will play just fine on the 360. So, yeah. There's THAT little snag in the works.

I don't think QB is close to being a big deal as TF X1 for sales and popularity. Don't think Sony has any cards for TF X1 tho.

Maybe with Microsoft in the role of underdog they'll take first party exclusives more seriously. Last gen they started off extremely strong. I think PS3 at one point only really had Uncharted while if you had a 360 you had Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Gears of War, and Halo 3. Then as the generation went on it's like Microsoft decided to stop making exclusives and let 3rd parties do all the heavy lifting while telling Bungie to make a couple more Halo games before they left.

Personally I think Sony is a lot more dedicated to supporting their in house developers, namely Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream, Santa Monica, and Sucker Punch among many others. Microsoft strategy seems to be catching wind of titles third parties are making and paying them not to release it on a Sony platform or make a 360 version if they're only making it on PC, all the while keeping an in house studio to make Halo. Obviously the truth is more complicated then that but I think a lot of you know what I mean.
