One thing hermits hold over consoles is the KB/M support for FPS and RTS games. However once consoles starts implementing these into their systems what other advantages will PC have over consoles?

KB/M gets clunky to control without a desk, and part of the appeal of consoles is being able to get away from the desk.

i can live without a keyboard and mouse for fps. but the 360 is spamming rts games like supreme commander, universe at ware, cnc3 and red alert 3 (not sure if halo wars is still going to be released). adding keyboard and mouse support for those would be a dream come true.

They still will never have the customizability nor the openness of the PC platform.

No thanks. Consoles are consoles and pcs are pcs.

If a developer really doesn't wanna make console games... don't make them. I don't wanna buy PC games that are best when you don't play them like PC games and console games that are best when you don't play them like console games. Consoles already handle FPS fine. The only people begging for kb/m for FPS are people who aren't even console gamers: PC gamers. I'd rather developers spend time working on a RTS that works well for consoles than trying to convince me to drag a keyboard and mouse into my living room.

If I wanted a gaming PC, I would have bought one. But I didn't. I bought a console. Either figure out how to make games that work on the system you're making them for or make them for another system.

Mods, graphics, free updates, best online, basically full BC(a few here and there won't work), most controller options, most exclusives. etc etc

With the right tools and knowledge, you can get anything to work.

They would still be missing hardware customizability, full modding support, word processing and all those other things PC's do that a gaming console never should.

i can turn it around and say what advantages do consoles have over pc when pc implements gamepad support(obviously their are advantages/disadvantages for both, but its really not the point right now)....o wait, it has implented gamepad support for years and years, and pretty much use any gamepad you want for virtually every single pc game there is with a little help from simple programs called xpadder or keytojoy for games that dont support gamepad in their options...

They shouldnt get M/B support.Although PS3 already has it on some games.Anyway my point is that all day long i sit on my desk playing Crysis and Test drive unlimited. When i am free i love to sit on that couch and enjoy GTA IV on HD with a controller.Thats the whole point of consoles and i like it.

I wouldn't use it, mostly because I would need to move my TV, or put a desk somewhere crap.
